No one can find inner peace except by working, not in a self- centered way, but for the whole human family. Peace Pilgrim http://www.extremehealthradio.com/wp...3/03/yoga1.jpg |
“You can spend minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even months over-analyzing a situation; trying to put the pieces together, justifying what could've, would've happened... or you can just leave the pieces on the floor and move on.” - Unknown
"Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?” - Mary Manin Morrissey “Lots of things can be fixed. Things can be fixed. But many times, relationships between people cannot be fixed, because they should not be fixed. You're aboard a ship setting sail, and the other person has joined the inland circus, or is boarding a different ship, and you just can't be with each other anymore. Because you shouldn't be.” - C. For ignoring the possibility of the fool in me... for excepting the possibility of the good in me... for closing your eyes to the discord in me." ~Michael Douglas as Liberace in "Behind The Candelabra" :candle: |
Pablo Neruda - Tonight I can write the saddest lines...
Tonight I can write the saddest lines. Write, for example,'The night is shattered and the blue stars shiver in the distance.' The night wind revolves in the sky and sings. Tonight I can write the saddest lines. I loved her, and sometimes she loved me too. Through nights like this one I held her in my arms I kissed her again and again under the endless sky. She loved me sometimes, and I loved her too. How could one not have loved her great still eyes. Tonight I can write the saddest lines. To think that I do not have her. To feel that I have lost her. To hear the immense night, still more immense without her. And the verse falls to the soul like dew to the pasture. What does it matter that my love could not keep her. The night is shattered and she is not with me. This is all. In the distance someone is singing. In the distance. My soul is not satisfied that it has lost her. My sight searches for her as though to go to her. My heart looks for her, and she is not with me. The same night whitening the same trees. We, of that time, are no longer the same. I no longer love her, that's certain, but how I loved her. My voice tried to find the wind to touch her hearing. Another's. She will be another's. Like my kisses before. Her voide. Her bright body. Her inifinite eyes. I no longer love her, that's certain, but maybe I love her. Love is so short, forgetting is so long. Because through nights like this one I held her in my arms my sould is not satisfied that it has lost her. Though this be the last pain that she makes me suffer and these the last verses that I write for her. By Pablo Neruda |

We are travelers on a cosmic journey, stardust, swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of infinity. Life is eternal. We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment. It is a little parenthesis in eternity.

Pablo Neruda - If You Forget Me
I want you to know one thing. You know how this is: if I look at the crystal moon, at the red branch of the slow autumn at my window, if I touch near the fire the impalpable ash or the wrinkled body of the log, everything carries me to you, as if everything that exists: aromas, light, metals, were little boats that sail toward those isles of yours that wait for me. Well, now, if little by little you stop loving me I shall stop loving you little by little. If suddenly you forget me do not look for me, for I shall already have forgotten you. If you think it long and mad, the wind of banners that passes through my life, and you decide to leave me at the shore of the heart where I have roots, remember that on that day, at that hour, I shall lift my arms and my roots will set off to seek another land. But if each day, each hour, you feel that you are destined for me with implacable sweetness, if each day a flower climbs up to your lips to seek me, ah my love, ah my own, in me all that fire is repeated, in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten, my love feeds on your love, beloved, and as long as you live it will be in your arms without leaving mine. By: Pablo Neruda :moonstars: |
Sometimes we find answers too our questions and these are the golden moments we live for.

You say that you love rain, but you open your umbrella when it rains. You say that you love the sun, but you find a shadow spot when the sun shines. You say that you love the wind, but you close your windows when wind blows. This is why I am afraid, you say that you love me too. |

The Edge of Love - Nadine Kingsley
The sadness is really hard to bear, struggling on the edge of love. To really know if it is lost or still there, buried so deep under hurt, guilt and sorrow. Or is it just a fond remembrance of a once new and passionate love? The answers, the truth, lay deep inside. There is no shortcut, no gentle path, it's an uphill battle all the way. There will be a time, when you crest the hill, and the answer quietly appears. You may be walking tall and alone or holding hands with the love of your life. Only time and patience and tears will tell what your heart already knows, but silently waits to whisper to your soul. ~Nadine Kingsley :moonstars: |

“Life is like a game of chess.
To win you have to make a move. Knowing which move to make comes with IN-SIGHT and knowledge, and by learning the lessons that are acculated along the way." - Allan Rufus “To be able to live each day with honor, respect and dignity is the greatest achievement of all.” ― Roopleen “If you feel unwanted or unappreciated where you are or by those you're with, it only means you're in the wrong place or with the wrong people. If your life is closeted, the only one you are truly fooling is yourself. Living a lie is not living at all. Walk in truth, and live life to the fullest. The shackles we place on ourselves are far worse than those placed on us by others. Be strong and never cower before the truth. ~ Jenny Saintonge
