uggghhhhh

The new med regimen to control my AFib is kicking my butt. It is designed to 1. lower heart rate & lower BP. I have to add a water pill & potassium supplement in also. At least my ankles aren't "cankles" anymore....:)/

My BP will drop way down then hopefully level off soon.

FireSignFemme 10-30-2019 07:24 PM

Fantastic! I'm settling into the new place and despite my initial reservations things are going great. I love it here!!!

Gemme 10-30-2019 08:46 PM

I feel good but am starting to get sleepy. Won't be long now and since I have tomorrow off, I can turn the phone off and wake without my alarm.

JDeere 10-30-2019 10:32 PM

Feeling a bit better.

Orema 10-31-2019 04:38 AM

Tired and not in the holiday spirit. I’ll dress up in my scrubs and stethoscope but will be at my desk most of the day working.

Feeling fat cause I’ve gained some pounds while working these marathon hours.

Concerned about fire season because eventually the fires will make their way to this area.

I did this and feel great! I do wish I got to bed earlier so I could have more of the morning to get stuff done but overall, I feel great.

JDeere 11-01-2019 03:48 PM

Grateful but still feel like death warmed over.

Gemme 11-01-2019 08:00 PM

Super not great. I've spent most of my evening cleaning vomit and bile out of the carpet. Thanks, Lok.

Feeling

I feel pretty good. Got my project award last week and special gifts. I am taking my projects show on the road with lots of presentations.

I still have chronic pain from my surgery but I am working through it.

There was no vomit waiting when I got home today. I feel amazing!

Orema 11-06-2019 10:01 AM

Pretty good though I haven't looked at the changes needed on my project. Till then, I'm good.

Have been in the office for over two hours and have been doing what I want to do. :) Organizing folders, updating spreadsheets, answering emails, and some basic office cleaning. Am done with that and am goofing off on the Internets before putting my shoulder to the wheel.

I wanna go see The Irishman and today would be the perfect day to play hooky, but the closest movie house that's showing it is 30 miles away. I'm not even driving that far and not really interested in what's playing nearby.

Guess I'll just stay where I'm at, do what's expected of me, and be grateful.

If you can just hang in there a few more weeks.......

Netflix released The Irishman with a limited theatrical release (Nov 1st) in order to meet the requirements for Oscars consideration, but then the three-plus hour epic will finally be made available for streaming worldwide on Netflix three weeks later on November 27.

Patience's is NOT my strong suit and I'm usually the type that needs instant gratification but I'm doing my best to wait until the 27th so I can view this in the comfort of my own home without the distraction of people's chatter, rustling of candy wrappers, rings/white lights from cell phones, etc etc

I like seeing most movies at home, but this is one I want to see on a bigger screen because I think this is their swan song to the gangster genre (their being Scorsese, DeNiro, Pesci, and Pacino). Not sure I’m gonna like this new technique of digitally altering their looks/age, but reviewers say it’s worth watching whether or not you like that technology.

I don’t think there’ll be much chatter from people who intentionally pay to see a 3+ hour movie, but you never know.

Pesci is supposed to be exceptionally good—subtle but powerful.

Wherever I see it, I think I’m in for a treat.

FireSignFemme 11-09-2019 09:37 PM

Tired but good. I got a lot accomplished today.

RebelDyke 11-11-2019 01:45 PM

I do not know how to explain it. A HUGE weight had been lifted off of my chest. The gray clouds have parted...and warm sunshine is coming through.. and I feel a lot lighters, I can breathe again...and being lifted up into that sky...hmmm interesting
