Dinner..
I had a turkey and ham sandwich with some homemade quacamole and chips.. Now, I'm having a drink.. Vodka and light pink lemonade.. It's good.. Want some?

I marinated chicken breasts in a jerk sauce....then roasted fresh zucchini and summer squash with a drizzle of olive oil and garlic herb seasoning...Teddy is ravingggg lol

I'm working at my second job (overnight at a group home) so it's just a frozen meal for me tonight.... and some soda.

I haven't a clue. I wish I'd made more of what I made for lunch. That was be delish right about now.
96% lean all beef patties pan fried with turkey bacon and portabella chunks in leftover broth from when I sauted veggies the last time. Super yummy! |
nothing says you're a southerner like Watermelon, and grape soda.. wish i had some fried chicken tho :(

2 sugar free oreos and a glass of milk, ill probably grab an apple or something more significant here in a bit. working overnight always throws my meal schedule off. mimi's during dinner time, and dinner during mimi's time. no bueno!

I made a meatloaf with fire roasted green chili's, jalapeno's,yellow bell pepper,red bell pepper,green bell pepper and onion, with all my usual seasonings I put in my meatloaf.. that was one of my best! made dirty rice and fresh green beans steamed and seasoned with a lil real butter and grated parm
then my child made us sundae's she uses choc ice cream with a lil honey peanut butter and drizzles of choc syrup its kinda good lol who knew :tease: |
Dinner was a treat out to 99 for sirloin, broccoli and fries. I may or may not have stolen a few of my dining companion's shrimp.
Dessert was an awful awful at Newport Creamery and two scoops of their scrumptious ice cream. |
I was out "in the country" at the lake today so...
Fried catfish, fresh corn on the cob, mashed potatoes and watermelon. I passed on the blackberry cobbler with ice cream but it looked good..... Katniss~~ |
Baked roast beef in a clay pot with garlic onions and roasted red peppers. Broccoli in a light cheese sauce made with Gouda and sprinkled with parmigiana.
Yorkshire pudding and dessert of eclair's. Nice hot Moroccan spiced coffee as well as Bella Costa Pinot Grigio. |
My son ask for pasta salad being it's so hot out...for myself I just had a tomato cuke salad toped with fresh herbs the dressing was a red wine and olive oil with hrebs with a touch of lite salt and pepper.

After yesterday's fried fish today needs to be healthier so....
"7 pepper" grilled sirloin over a bed of field greens and chopped tomato with shaved parmesan cheese and a vinaigrette dressing. Fresh peach for dessert. Raspberry LaCroix water to drink. Katniss~~ |

It's 95 degrees out today so I'm thinking a salad with parmesan chicken and light cheddar.

We have yet to cook the pork loin. I'm thinking it's going to go in the slow cooker for tomorrow.
Sooooo, it's prolly gonna be lean beef burgers and salad. |
Apparently I'm not the only one in the mood for pasta salad!
Mine will be rotini with grilled chicken, carrots, mushrooms, and green peppers. Tossed in a Kraft Tuscan House Italian dressing - I like the peppery-ness of it. :tease: |

Ham steak, fried potatoes and eggs however everyone wants them. Breakfast for dinner. The fixings for the real dinner were not ready so that will be for tomorrow.

I brought a big green salad. With tomato, cheese, hardboiled egg, craisins and chicken from the crock pot, topped with green goddess dressing. Strawberries Cranberry lemonade sparkling water Yumminess! |
Looks like a popcorn kinda night.
2 appointments yet today, thus , the merry Mary Poppins maid/cook found the chimney, or :moonstars: evaporated, and I am on my own |

Beef fajitas and pork ribs grilled....... homemade quacamole and some doritos, salad, and a baked potato.. I'm hungry tonight.. :bbq:

What I wanted: Fresh corn on the cob (it was lousy so I pitched it -- am a very picky Midwesterner when it comes to fresh corn).
What I had (yet again): Homemade Guacamole, pretzel sticks, and veggies (those durn avocados insist on ripening all at once). :| |

We wound up with the burgers, onions and mushrooms and Alex brought home an onion salad with a vinaigrette glaze and a fried portabella.
For dessert, I had some blueberry covered cheese. Nummy! |
Potato wedges (too lazy to peel the spuds) sweet curry sauce and mushy peas. Just waiting for the sauce to cool so I can blitz it. :waitinggirl:

I am slow cooking some boneless pork ribs, in a sauce that is made at the local butcher..its so good. I made potato salad earlier, and there is sun tea out on the balcony. I can't wait for supper! Yum!
