Advocate!!
(speaking up against workplace violence, abusive workplace bullies, violations by management - who think they are untouchable - in professional protocol and polices, finally getting the guts to step forward and filing a HUGE, detailed complaint against several individuals for ongoing abuse, intimidation and discrimination, etc, to finally "do something to make positive changes to help those I left behind"... has made me feel in control again, empowered, and strong again!! ... a weight lifted... I also finally had the guts to report the individual that stated "I hope I don't look like a Dyke?" in reference to her short haircut. -that statement had made me FURIOUS when she did it... But, when you are truly afraid of your management personnel and what they will do to you to retaliate ... and scared to speak up for what's right... it starts to affect every fiber of your being and health... I can only HOPE that things will get better for my friends I left behind when I resigned!) |
