However this must be the junk food of all grain free cat foods because he's responding to it just like he did when I had him on regular food with grain in it. So slowly back to the old brand of grain free food it is. Right now he's napping, lying on his right side curled up into a half moon shape with his left paw covering his eyes. A sleep mask of sorts of his own creation. So cute. I just love him so much and will do anything I can to see him back to his old self again soon.

I hope your kitty feels better soon. Poor kitty.

Thinking that there was ice in my drink and there isn't so she thought it was a good idea to try out what was in the cup, its Coke, you should have seen her face after one lick!!!

Kätzchen 07-21-2017 09:47 AM

They're not my pets, but they might as well be *lol*

They love me and watch over me and guard over me and nudge me awake when I've not heard the pings on my phone or when they gotta go potty.

However, *LOL*, It's my caT Petunia who keeps the dogs in line.

You must be very popular seeing your phone is "pinging" so much....:cheer:

The kitty just had an impromptu pedicure after accidentally scratching the crap out of me. He has to be one of the only cats in the world who actually enjoys getting his nails trimmed. He sits so still and purrs the entire time.

Pets

The kitten is starting to sleep in my bed more instead of her kitty bed. This morning I woke up with a kitty in each arm. That is a great way to wake up.

:rollcat:

Bèsame* 07-30-2017 09:04 AM

My older kitty makes such a fuss when I open the freezer. When she hears me clinking the ice, she starts talking. I've discovered she wants the ice. I started putting ice in their water bowl, because the cold water comes out room temp. But now, she wants the ice.

She licks right on top of the ice cubes, the cracklin' noise doesn't faze her. She chases it around the bowl, and then uses her paw to pull the ice back to her.
Now that cracks me up.

FireSignFemme 07-30-2017 12:02 PM

Monte is back to being Magnificent! He's fully transitioned back onto his old food and loving it. He's stopped shedding, gained a few ounces and we've come to a compromised on treats – only after he's finished what's in his bowl. Not only that he has to work to earn them by finding them which motivates him to keep moving and get a little exercise in. I'm so happy his health is on an upswing. Once he's back up to weight I'm going to take him in for a paw dip, bath and grooming session.

Gayandgray 08-03-2017 01:59 PM

No had a small seizure and fell off our bed and hurt his back leg. It's a king sized Craftmatic adjustable bed and pretty high, so he took a bit of a tumble. It's always SOMETHING with these crazy Bostons!!:seeingstars::seeingstars::seeingstars:

Kitty Eleanor traveled from NC with my youngest daughter. She is now residing with me at my honey's apartment. She was a nervous wreck yesterday and needed a ton of reassurance....today she is owning the place. Cats amaze me with their resiliency ....

I'm amazed that I spelled resiliency correctly the first time....

Bèsame* 08-10-2017 09:54 AM

I found big Mortgage kitty in the bathtub this morning. I image it's a cool spot for all the fur he has to carry around.

GeorgiaMa'am 09-11-2017 11:31 AM

Irma has finally gotten here, and Tiny Dog was not cooperative this morning when I took her out. She kept sniffing the air and coming over to me and looking at me like, "Something big is coming! Something's wrong!" and I'm like "Hurry up! This weather is going to get worse later! You need to go _now_!"

She finally did go, thank goodness, and we both ran back in the house, rain-splattered as we were. Now things are blowing around outside, so I hope she's settled until it's safe to go out again.

Diva Kitty is, of course, sleeping through it all on the foot of my bed.

Tuff Stuff 09-11-2017 12:47 PM

They've been acting like coyote bait, this needs to stop.I hate to but I'm putting them all in their cages tonight.

Damn shapeshifters, plz don't eat any more of my babies up.I'm still heartbroken about the last one you caught.Don't try to deny it, my security cameras caught you.

RockOn 09-11-2017 01:51 PM

I am off work today and all it has done is rain. Kevin, Jennifer and Jeffrey have done nothing but pout and follow every step I make. And they keep summoning me to come and open the back door so they can see if the rain has stopped. Then when they look out, pouty faces droop a little lower as they walk drudgingly back to their daybed.

I hate it for them. They have such fun outside. I hate it for me too. They are sort of getting on my nerves ... twice I have almost stepped on Jeffrey.

girl_dee 09-11-2017 02:10 PM

i found one of her half chewed cookies in my purse.

Bèsame* 09-12-2017 09:49 AM

Both cats, sound a sleep in two seperate places within eye site, while I'm up late from work. As soon as I get up to turn off lights, brush my teeth, and head on to bed, they follow.

Both, some how jump onto the bed, one the the left of me, the other, climbs on my leg, and walks the length of my body.

It's the last petting, scratching behind the ears, last purr of the day. This probably goes on for about a min, then off they jump. Back to their spots...

Everyone happy, off to la la land......

Boy kitty, yet to be officially named, is cracking out again.

The kitty...

1. Played his usual "hard to get" for his morning left ear thyroid med application (all while purring)

2. Begged for his night time right ear application

3. Continued his 14 year streak of being adorable and irresistable

Gemme 09-29-2017 05:02 AM

He practiced his ninja skills and nearly sent me tumbling.

easygoingfemme 09-29-2017 07:35 AM

The cats burrowed back in bed after I made it up this morning. Fall is here.

GeorgiaMa'am 09-29-2017 09:01 AM

Tiny Dog and Diva Kitty are, alas, stuck in my bedroom all day while construction work goes on in the rest of the house and I am at work. I wonder what they are doing alone together all day? Plotting to overthrow the world? Planning their escape as soon as I get home and open the door? They're probably just snoozing. Tiny Dog is probably occasionally worried by the smells of strange people in the house and the unusual sounds. If Diva Kitty feels the need for privacy, she'll hide in my closet for awhile. Tiny Dog doesn't care about privacy.

Gayandgray 09-29-2017 06:01 PM

The herbal "calm me down pills" that the vet recommended for my biggest Boston are finally starting to work now. Unfortunately he is sleeping a lot more.... But what is worse? Sleeping more or attacking his brother and sister? The last time he attacked his brother (they are litter mates) it was an expensive vet bill, and his sister is my 12year old senior Boston who cannot defend herself. So I guess I'll have to deal with the sleeping more and have 3 safe dogs.:seeingstars::seeingstars:

All is a welcome quiet in my house. The baby kitty is next to me begging for tummy rubs and the kitten is playing in her tube.

:rollcat:

Gemme 09-30-2017 05:50 AM

Currently, he's snoozing under the tree as he has finally run out his energy. Holy cow, he was bouncing off the walls, literally!

Kätzchen 10-07-2017 08:06 AM

Hey Hey, *lol*, I just let the dogs out of their kennels, petted them both on their heads and thanked them for not nagging me during the night and then gave them both a huge hunk of cheese and turned them loose outside, in my BFF's back yard, so they can bark like crazy and stretch their legs and scare the chickens awake, next door.

My sweet caT is now inside and ready for her morning meds and her first treat of the day :giggle:

Her neighbors are our friends (remember that they own the restaurant out by me, yet live next door to my BFF? ), who got home from an all-nighter catering event......they actually were making SO much noise that my BFF's dogs woke me up so they could go outside and use their talented barking skills, lol. The chickens didn't really care tho, because they're always up with the birds. :|

Had to give my pet away to a good home...i'm sure he's having a great senior life.

Tuff Stuff 10-09-2017 11:04 AM

Right now..

My female chihuahua is trying to hump all the cats..where does she find the energy?

Her mate is just observing this..he tried, but the cats won't let him near them.

He was sooo excited to see Us yesterday that he turned into soft kitty velcro and would go from one to the other and just attach himself to Us.

This morning, he's playing with the wheels on my chair so we may need to have a refresher course in what is acceptable to play with and what could get you hurt if you play with it.

Also, the pet sitter overfed him and he's a mini butterball now.

Over the weekend my roommate sent me a picture of Skippy standing to the side of her truck thinking it was my truck and just trying his best to get me to get out of the truck. I was out of town the picture of him touched my heart how much he loves and misses me and made me feel guilty.

So today I took him out for ice cream he loves vanilla ice cream and he gets a little vanilla chin and it is so cute.

A cold front came through so I opened the windows and the kitties are having a blast running from window to window smelling the air.

Fun time.

Mopsie 10-10-2017 07:20 PM

My kitty decided to "help" me knit. This involves a game of keep away where I try to get the yarn on the knitting needle and she tries to get the yarn on her paws. I did not get much knitting accomplished tonight!

Gemme 10-10-2017 09:09 PM

Loki hid under the bed for most of the night but is relaxing on the sofa now. He's been enjoying the new layout of the apartment but he better not get used to it.
