I know. I do recycle the same five to seven meals on a regular basis.

Breakfast!
Bacon Eggs Toast and homegrown tomatoes

Going to try and perfect some sweet potato and cinnamon waffles with a toasted pecan and cinnamon cream syrup. For a side I am thinking something simple like country potatoes and hickory bacon.

PaPa 07-17-2013 08:13 PM

I made an awesome sandwich that tasted just like subway!

I used my multigrain diet bread and toasted it
I then folded a piece of low sodium turkey breast and put on the one side
then a slice of ham folded in half and put on top of the turkey breast
then a slice of American cheese
a handful of skinned and sliced cucumbers
a dill pickle sliced lengthwise into slivers
a red leaf lettuce leaf
mayo
and the top slice of toast

OMG I was in heaven!!

RockOn 07-17-2013 08:37 PM

Can of chicken noodle soup, saltines and very large milk ... now snacking on a little chocolate pudding from the fridge ...

soup did not do it for me tonight, ate about half - pooch Kelly ate the rest ... seemed like it did good for her and she already had a full tummy :)

I butterflied the chicken and put it back in the refrigerator to air dry, covered with taco seasoning, with which I am obsessed.

I wish I were making us a picnic dinner to eat while we listen to music, but it is just too hot to sit outside, even later in the day.

Tommi 07-18-2013 07:29 AM

I ended up having a good dinner :)

The Greek place down the street has amazing sauce...I had the eggplant parmesan and linguine, with salad and nummy bread.
I also nibbled on Ted's seafood platter. Scrod, shrimp, and clams. Cole slaw (not as good as his) and really good homemade tartar sauce.

MysticOceansFL 07-18-2013 09:00 PM

This is whats for dinner

Cabbage rolls stuffed with cooked ground beef in red sauce and some rice and finely chopped onions and green pepper and yellow and red an mushrooms and some spices and side dish of salad with ranch dressing and a glass of ice tea.

Left for work this morning at 7:30 and did not make it back home until 9:30 tonight. After work I went to Home Depot to get more impact driver bits and more 3" screws. Never a quick trip to Home Depot.

Did the drive-thru deal for dinner ...
I ate an Arby's Jr. Roast beef. Kevin and Kelly consumed the other 11 of them. Those dogs love Arby roast beef sandwiches.

Kent 07-18-2013 10:32 PM

cinnamongrrl 07-19-2013 07:28 PM

we took the round about way home through Rhode Island and stopped here:

http://www.wrightsfarm.com/

It wasn't as good as I remember...and, unbeknownst to us, they charge for each and every beverage refill...and the glasses are TINY.... :|

Gemme 07-19-2013 07:37 PM

Long day. I was glad that Alex made meat. Steak, I think. It was gone too fast for me to really categorize it. The sauted mushrooms and Rainier cherries too.

I might have been hungry.
