Binging on season one of Masters of Sex and am thoroughly enjoing it. I really like Beau Bridges in this, he's so good.

Thinking, thinking, thinking ... all I can do is keep thinking I hope the power does not go off anymore. It went down during a severe thunderstorm about 5 hours ago and was off for 2 hours. It came back on long enough for the a.c.to cool us down, then went off again for about half an hour. Back on now ... hope it stays that way. Too freaking hot and humid to try and sleep without a.c.

Just got home a bit ago. Put some groceries away. Showered and got into my comfy night clothes. Now, just chilling and posting here. It has been a good day.

Because the weather alert said to seek shelter in a room with no windows...the BIG dog I'm puppysitting for this week and I are camping out in the bathroom... she keeps trying to get under me...or on my lap...I hope the lights don't go out...I have no clue where my friends keep their flashlights.

kinda sorta listening to the local news, but really ease dropping on my mom, talking to my Aunt. They are sharing stories and memories about my Dad. Heartwarming.
