desd is relaxing and eating dinner.. unhappy she has to work the day of the horse boarding potluck even though she gets out at 3pm.. it's supposed to be at 2pm.. guess my girls will have to go without me :( AND i have to work the day of my dr appt. meh.

Oiler41 is in Orlando Florida at the Crane Institute of America studying for a crane rigging test tomorrow. I completely understand now why there are so damn many crane accidents. I also completely understand why my boys in the shop keep damaging and destroying lifting slings. But that will soon be okay; it's about to be the dawn of a new day for them in reference to rigging and crane usage! They just THOUGHT I was the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager from hell, LOL. Actually, I care about every one of them and they know it, even if I am a thorn in their sides at times.

excited to go back to work tomorrow. i have adjusted well to my new air cast. i don't think it will limit my movements in the kitchen. i had a great session with my therapist today...and i had lunch with my best friend. i haven't talked to my sweetie yet today, but other than that, all is going well for me.

MRI and surgical tape
 

Dillon had an MRI today and I did not flinch when the nurse gave me an IV but did flinch taking the surgical tape off where they bandaged me up...

Is having a f**king problem trying to find a picture that accurately details the spinal cord so I can finish my anatomy lab handouts before the lab final next Thursday..

Looking forward to Orlando's Pride on Sunday..

is grrrrrrrrrr. i like public transit except when it is late and i miss my bus and have to figure out an alternate way home. i still need to clean and pack for the weekend and oh yeah sleep because i also have to work tomorrow. and oh yeah: i am carrying a 10 pound bag of kitty litter and starving because i didnt eat dinner yet. grrrrr! no :stillheart:

made it home safely, albeit later. sleep now. pack for PDX in the a.m. then hafta leave extra early for work because the VP of the USA is in town for a breakfast tomorrow morning and they are blocking off streets for security. JOY!

slept all night and mornin - feeling good! Eating food before 2-11 work shift. Will come home to both my girls as we have Abigail this weekend :) Work tomorrow then hoping to make it out to the BF Rochester social dinner, and work Sunday then the potluck with the other horse owner's out at Ron's house? Busy weekend, lots of socializing. Excited girl!
