Smiles...
A phone call from my daughter, or so I thought until a tiny voice says (whispering because she is hiding with her mother's cell) "Poppi! I'm going to see sharks!!" The whispers turned into screams of excitement in a child's voice. And I'm still smiling. I sent all the grandkids tickets to the Newport Aquarium for Valentine's day.
That call made my Valentine's Day the best ever |

My reason to smile this morning .... My beautiful daughter walking in with my sweet Aimee!!! Aimee looking up and her face breaking into a huge smile at seeing me!!! Then the arms reach out for me!!!! Sitting on the bed now snuggling and playing!!! These are such :praying: precious moments to cherish with all my :heartbeat:!!!! |
My butch washed my car today. Even though we live in Portland, Oregon and of course there will be rain tonight.
Simply so I could take my new-to-me car to work for the first time as shiney and show-off able (f) |

Teddy....
He was planning our Monday night dinner tradition, and he knows I've been on a parsnip kick...so he got me some! And I didn't know this and I also got some! We also picked out nice paint colors for our new nest....and we got paint for some projects I have had in the wings....I can't wait to get started :) |
Seeing the sunshine as I woke up, feeling that happy floating feeling all day, daydreaming, that first morning coffee on the way to work, getting complimented, a quiet morning filled with light conversation and really cool clients, lunch hour with my new boss spent sharing stories and dreams for our futures, a hot bubble bath and thinking about my crushes.
I still haven't stopped smiling! |
-My dear friend agreeing to take my extra car since she cannot afford to keep hers and she has a disabled daughter and I dont want her to have to rely on the bus and also being able to help her fix some scratches and things on her car before she turns in the lease so she is not penalized.
-Making two new clients feel comfortable on their first day in treatment -Buying Yummy Gluten Free food |

Best day ever! I got offered not one, but TWO jobs today while AT work! One from a customer and another internally. I took one of them too! Less hours, more money & way cooler position. I'm so excited I can hardly sit stilll!
Oh and this too! This started my day this morning and I could barely contain tears of sweetness. Seriously, best day ever. |

Beyond smiles....I get summoned to the office 'when I'm free'. I'm heading that way thinking what did I do this time...I walk in and the sweetest surprise is waiting for me...an early Valentines gift had been delivered from the sweetest friend I could ask for....guess she knew I needed a pick me up!:happyjump:
