Well, hopefully she's okay. But yeah...i hear what you're saying. Maybe we should have some sorta probation period for people who sign up for future projects and are known to flake. There are others, no?

FWIW i do agree with you. i am planning to send the projects Dec. 1st no matter what. i will send back extras to the person who originally created them.

The projects are very fun and creative this go around. It has been neat getting lots of packages in the mail and seeing everything before the rest of the group. :D

BUT

You're right. You and I have had this conversation ourselves. It's not fair and is very insulting for the rest of us to do the work and then, not only bail out on us, but to do it with NO notice to anyone goes beyond rude.

Life sometimes gets in the way for all of us. This time, Pixie had to withdraw from the round, but she gave us notice about it. For others, it's become a pattern to sign up and then vanish with no notice to anyone until weeks or months later.

However, the vast majority of us love artsy stuff and love this opportunity to get together in some way and share our talent and love of the world of art. This is why I asked you to take a look at this thread. Your work is lovely and I thought that you would fit right in with us. :cheesy:

i know you can't see it, but you all are helping decorate my apartment for the holidays! i tried to get a shot of it and put it in my avatar. i've got past projects lining the trim on the wall and the post on the left of the tree. :)

update: the project mailing is being delayed until tomorrow, possibly Friday. i have received LeftWriteFemme's project (super cool! Thank You!) and waiting on Gemme & Organic's. Haven't heard from Rain or Green, so i'm taking a wild guess that they did not complete the project and...forgot to inform me/us. Thanks for your patience! :stillheart:

Yeah and some of us have a buttload of cards to send out this month.

Did you know you can order boxes online from USPS for free and they will even send them to you? i ordered some yesterday. Plus a buttload of stamps (not for free) for the cards i hafta send out. :|

(just a bit overwhelmed by the cards. lol!)
