A trip to go get local peaches. They are devine! .... We ended up with a huge bag of peaches, watermellon, new potatoes, 3 pounds of greenbeans, yellow squash and baby cucumbers....
Then Mawmaw called to say she "sure would enjoy Kenna's homemade pulled pork BBQ for tomorrow"....which is a huge compliment...so we had to visit 2 grocery stores to get a Boston But and other things for a special dinner.... Right now, homemade peach cobbler is in the oven. Joy!!! |

Watching momma and daddy hummingbirds enjoy the new feeders I placed outside the kitchen...and tiny little, bright colored daddy perching on the chainlink fence a few inches away to "defend" his feeder. He's so itty bitty but so feisty. And I got him on film showing off. I love them!

I saw my first godchild today, she is one month old and she is GORGEOUS. First time I have seen and held her, what a blessing.

My daughter sent an emailed ultrasound of my yet unborn grandchild. I stared at it, picking out the little feet, toes, hands, head, nose, forehead, everything... I was in a state of blissed out rapture...totally in love.

My finds and treats from the farmer's market...everything is so delicious and such a treat! I remember while growing up, we couldn't afford fresh produce or fruit unless we grew it ourselves....so I don't take it for granted now, and it's a big treat to get all my favorites.

I finally hit level 21 on Pokemon Go! (Yes, I'm a dork.)

I've actually been fully committed to being happy today, so pretty much everything....a good workout, laughing with my trainer, the summer rain as I walked out of the gym, breakfast, texts, email and FB. Even getting my laundry switched over made me happy because I love the smell of freshly washed linens.
