Hey baseball fans, the 2015 season is underway! The Cubs are playing the Cardinals at Wrigley right now.
The Yankees open at Yankee Stadium tomorrow against the Blue Jays. I don't know how I am going to cope without Derek Jeter, but I am excited baseball season is finally here! |

I was way excited for opening day, only to be terribly disappointed. 10-1 loss. Stupid White Sox. Thankfully its a long season. Go Sox!

Yankees lost their opener for like the 4th year in a row. Argh, it's hard for me to get excited about them, but I will stay true. JDeere, I was too tired to stay up and watch the Giants, but I see they won. Congrats! AnotherButch, I watched the Cards on Sunday night and they looked good. Cricket, I love your pic!!!!! Randrum, yeah it's a long season, we just have to hang in there. Yankees are off today after playing one game. Weird. |

Loved hearing the Cubbies were moving on to the NLDS. Theo Epstein has done another admirable job getting the players they needed to make them contenders. Hoping his magic will bring the Cubs a world series victory, just as he did for the Red Sox. Would love to see the Cubs vs the Astros in the World Series. |

So not only did I find myself in a hockey rivalry town, but a baseball rivalry town. But so be it! I will enjoy supporting my White Sox when they are in town to play the Tigers.

I found out today that I can get super cheap tickets through work to the local semi-pro team. So I bought like 10 games for $50. I figure there is nothing like a baseball game in the summertime.
