finding the perfect, most exquisite campsite! took my grandsons swimming the other day, and while exploring we found it- On Lake Hartwell, it's on a curve, a point actually.... completely private- what you see when you pull up: you have the tent space, and fire grate on the first level- then you step down and you have the the fire pit made of stone and picnic table and lake on 3 sides- this is the elevated point, where land ends at the water... then 3 stairs down to the waters edge! lordhavemercy........ I reserved it for monday thru thursday of this coming week- and here's the kicker..... it was only 42 bucks for 4 days!! :cheer: can I just say how much I adore the 'little things'? will post pictures! |

...the kind where She comes up from behind me and wraps Her arms around me, pulling me back against Her and kisses my neck softly... just one of those little sweet and tender moments all mixed in with our regular day to day routine that makes me feel so loved and special. |

The kid I'm mentoring took all of his written tests today, 12 different areas of stagecraft. He passed with an over all score of 96%.
Now, if I can get him to stop freaking out about the practicals, I'll smile again. |
Mama made me smile today
I had the most wonderful surprise today, I went to the city for a show and stopped in the Castro for a slice of pizza, I saw Mama Standing outside of Daddy's(440) and I went to ask how she was after her surgery, right their on the spot she pinned me "Mama's Sweet Tee" and welcomed me to her family. it was perfect her and me on Castro it was special and quiet :harley:

What made me smile...
While walking the office doggie today, I found a patch of blackberries growing at the back of my office. I went back inside, grabbed a lil' cup, and went back outside to pick some berries. |
I got such a chuckle this morning....
When I left to run errands, I came upon a little turtle sunbathing on the road. When I got out of my car to "save" him from being hit... he must'a been a racing turtle 'cause he scurried very fast off the road, hissing at me the whole way while I directed him to the side that has a small pond. I thought "gee little buddy, you need racing stripes and a tune up!!" When I got home and pulled into the drive, I nearly hit a BIG turtle, about the size of a dinner plate!! This one's shell was all yucky with green muck from his favorite water hole...he was happily munching on dandelions and didn't want to budge! When I picked him up to move him off my parking spot, he stuck his tongue out at me and pulled back into his "home". With this lil guy, I thought "I'm happy I have turtles to smile at and not Blade's house snakes!!" |
