A relaxing morning at work spent cleaning up and making conversation, floating in my thoughts and talking about some of my business ideas with my boss.

Love. Love makes me smile. Life. Life makes me smile. So much to live and love for - I wonder why so many - waste so much time... just open your heart and love ... it really is that simple ... (for the most part anyway)...

_____I don't write much these days ... but wanted to take a few moments today - as the sun beams through my windows (finally) and that burst of spring comes through - and the cold of winter - melts away ... I hear the birds chirping...the dogs bounding about outside...and ... well... life is good ... I have been richly blessed - and I am grateful - each and every day...for those blessings of life (and) yes - (for love) ...

I rare day off finds me puttering about - and doing a bit of channel surfing...and (the) Notebook is on... I don't recall ever seeing (all) of that movie all the way through... and we all know why I have an interest in the romances - but...well...it was just a good movie...gotta hand it to that Nicolas Sparks fellow ... he certainly has a talent - and most likely a wonderful inspiration...

But as the movie finishes and I'm left with that (fuzzy warm feeling) that romances are suppose to leave you with ... and you think - wow - now that was a great romance...

There are several I can name - right of the top of my head ... we all know the ones...you don't need me to name them...

However - even as I think about them - and the images run through my head briefly - or all the beloved words of all the poets...now - before - and all those that might be ... all the beautiful words - all the songs - all the melodies - if you combine all of the most romantic moments you can ever think of - from the past - present - and even those that are surely to come... and you think ... (wow) ... now that is a great story - or (wow) ... that's a great love ... or (wow) ... listen to that song ... that's exactly how I feel...if you put them all together ... none of them ... no one single one story - movie - word - poem - song - comes even halfway close to the (love) I feel and the joy I feel (yes) - because of (her).

So - I'm thinking --- if you love someone - (that) way... (and) if you do love someone - to my way of thinking you (should) love them that way ... don't waste any time ... tell them ... show them... each and every day... don't waste another minute...make your own love story... truly show them - they are the love of your life...

A great day at work, daydreams and more business ideas. Oh and let's not forget stopping for a coffee milkshake.

Going to my sons school for "Lunch on the Lawn", which is basically a giant picnic where the parent brings a special meal for their child. It was great!

my good friend melissa....today is her bday so when i gave her bday card and gift she told me i rocked her socks off....struck me as funny and gave the big dimple smile...FUN!

Taking some time for myself to look through the spring clothing catalogues, free perfume samples, msgs from a friend and hand lotion!

A counter top lined with pint jars full of freshly canned green beans. I love hearing the "ping" as the lids seal. Tomorrow I'll can chicken and roast.

Mum has been stuck in a bit of a ruck lately, sitting at the beach today, talking about how much she loves sewing we discussed how she could start designing and making clothes in pvc, leather, velvet, etc for the more voluptuous figure, made to order, mentioned it on FB and I got an instant response from friends, now Mum is energised, fired up, smiling and set to do research into designs, fabrics and fashions. It has made her day, she's been sitting at home, miserable, unable to work out what to do, now she has a goal.
Seeing her so happy? Priceless. Any day that leaves her feeling this good is fantastic in my book.
Today has been a winner!
Now to do some research to help her some more.

I went to a lifestyle event this evening (a "munch"-- casual atmosphere-- drinks, food, conversation-- a public venue where we won't scare the vanillas) and had a lot of fun talking to people, catching up with some friends that I haven't seen in a few weeks. I'm definitely the "hugging" type, very comfortable with people hugging me, so it was nice seeing old friends and making new ones-- and getting hit on by a few people, one of which kept forgetting my name (there were lots of people, and I am horrible with names with that many people around too), so she kept calling me "Blue Eyes" all evening. She asked me out this weekend, but 1- I'm not ready, and 2- I'm not looking for a poly relationship, and she's polyamorous.

But it WAS very flattering and made me grin and blush like a complete idiot.

Another day out with Mum.
So blessed to have her, happy knowing I've finally found a way to help her.
Can't help smiling at the antics of Her Furriness with her morning appreciation of the sparrows nesting above the bedroom window, very happy kitty.
Things are starting to get slowly better, tempting fate? Fuck it, life's too short to let it pass me by and it's up to the living to keep the memory of those lost alive, I can honour him by doing what he did; getting the best out of everything.
