I just discovered this artist. I found that her songs had truth and passion in the words. I looked her up as a I was fascinated. She has lived quite a journey. I really love watching Beth Hart play the piano and perform. I had just read the depression hurts thread ( I appreciated everyone's post). Beth Hart came to be diagnosed with Bipolar on her journey and finally found acceptance in the diagnosis. Beth Hart's music really runs the spectrum, it is "her" truth that resonates with me. One can see the stages of her life in her music over time. I find I am always working on mind, body and soul to be as healthy at the moment as I can be. One day soon I hope mental health access will expand . One by one maybe we can take the stigma away that still exists with therapy and mental health issues. |

This song to me, shows how we can't run from patterns established, different name and a different place. In the end you take yourself with you and until that pattern is broken and healthier ways are practiced with self-worth embraced often one will continue the same pattern and end up in the same situation. On a positive note it appears that in the present she is in a healthier place, based on the interviews I did catch. |
