yesterday, a colleague sent me an email

"jenny, i appreciate your level competence"

and i replied

"sometimes i wish (my employer) would increase the level of expected competence"

i just never understand why companies continue to employ underachieving employees. lay the fuckers off. save all of us who actually do the work a lot of headache! and then hire unemployed people who actually WANT to work!

You could use ez (since he's down for the count anyway) to put pins on the parts of the body you are having trouble with. Call it accupuncture!

I loved your last line about being live and actual people versus being members! Okay, so I'm twisting your words, but I'm kinda twisted like that anyway and I thought I might call in dead and unreal to work tomorrow. I wonder if that could actually work......... :thinking:

My oldest son is now cage fighting. I hate fighting, but I support him because he loves it. He had his first fight last weekend, and won. Apparently his fight was the best one of his whole team (from the way the guy who is sponsoring his team AND the newspaper talk). So his team had a 1/2 page in the county newspaper today. It was all good until I read something they wrote that absolutely humiliated me, especially because it was WRONG! He had told them that he had dropped out of school because of a surgery he had and was out several weeks, got behind, and was not able to catch up. He then, almost 2 years later, got a job and was (supposed to be) helping out around the house, etc and then was going to go back to school. This idiot reporter wrote that he dropped out of school because I needed him to work and HELP ME PAY THE BILLS! Oh my freaking GAWD! It is so far from the truth and I thought oh my god everyone in town is going to think I'm a freaking loser that I would have my son drop out of school to support me! It was so far from the truth and I am beyond pissed off! I am calling the newspaper tomorrow and telling the editor exactly how wrong the reporter's facts are and that I want them to write a correction in the paper. I tried not to make a big deal out of that in front of my son, he was so happy he was in the paper, that he had such a good review, etc. I couldn't ruin his moment, yanno? But OMG I feel freaking humiliated!

The dogs sleep in the kitchen at night. We have a gate we put across the door so they stay in there. At night I set up their big comfy bed and blankets. Once they are put to "bed" if one of us goes in the kitchen they get a little excited because they think it's time to get up.

Wow! This has been a crazy week of tornados, hail, wind, and rain. My school was shut down yesterday because the lower half of the campus had mudslides! Don't get me wrong, I love rain and storms, but man, I will be ever so grateful for a little sunshine. Hope everyone is doing well.

its sad and boggles my mind.......
how someone will choose not to be in a relationship with a person..
because the person wont sleep with dogs /animals in the bed.
