please define red

do you just mean true red
but like blood red is ok
or light red is ok
or no red as in no shade of red from black red to lightest pink


and ummmm
as for hearts
does no hearts mean no upsidedown black broken hearts with daggers through them
or do you just mean whole rightside up red/pink/white hearts
and do pictures of real hearts count?

I believe "pinks", "peaches", "oranges" are fine.....but true red, blood red, tomato red, maroon, burgundy, 'black-reds'.....no.

Not necessarily. The anthology that Medusa's working on here is not a paying gig. The only payment is a copy of the book for those whose work is included. I do think that morningstar should have gotten a copy of the calendar her work was in, though.

Awww, I coulda used burgundy.

Okay, no colors that could...at any point....be blood. No rusts, no deep red, no bright red, no iron-y colors at all.

BUT

Pastels in the tones of peach and pink are acceptable.

Gemme, I was speaking about any site that hosts visual artists and their work. I am on several and the host site always gets back to me if someone is intereted in purchasing my art. As it should be.

Perhaps it is I that misread it. I thought I read they used a piece of her work in the calendar... if that is the case then she should be compensated. Unless there is a previous agreement with the site. I took a peek and prefer the sites I am already on. It reduces the risk of plagerism! I love www.redbubble.com!

ya know..... this is such a interesting challenge...
and im kinda hesitant to throw my name in the hat for this heartless project..

plus im not sure im getting how we are to send this stuff...... same way we are doing christmas cards??
which btw..... soon as i come across a mail box, i wil mail all the rest of my cards .. why does it seem like when i dont need a mail box i see them everywhere?

I got my package today!!! I love them all!!!
Daddy is always telling me what a creative group this is and Hy (not surprisingly) is so right!!!
You all are wonderful and surprising!
Cara, thank you for sending everything out is was so wonderful to go to the Post Office and find a box of fun waiting there for me.
Oh, and I apologize for not putting a state designation on my card, I always think I wear my Jersey girl status on my sleeve, but I guess I'm wrong and by the way that is the very building I live in, but the roof line has been changed and the water has been drained.

Also, I have realized that I am just heartless enough to take on Diva's challenge, so I am throwing my empty chest into the ring......or something like that.

Today ..I ripped open the envelope and there were the greatest cards from ya'll...
I am going to hang them with the Christmas cards along the firelpace. How neat.

What a talented group.

PS. When you get mine, the stick-on (once it is taken off the card) is a magnet.

When I close the list off, the number of people who are on the list is the number of cards you make. Then, when completed, you bundle 'em up and send them all to me with $5 (to help offset postage expenses).

When everyone's cards arrive, I will divide them up and then send back to you.

Make sense?
