I am doing my homebody thing and chowing down on a healthy vegetarian wrap in the midst of nesting activities and lots of good music.

Getting ready for a visit from JD and making lists! WOOT!

Antibiotics and the bed. And yes, movies too.

A bit of reading and cutting out of articles to pass on to a dear friend, perhaps a movie followed by a good nights sleep!

I’m taking a friend out for her first glass of wine since she stopped breast-feeding. And then poker with my boys. I’m a night owl.

Kittens, totally unexpected. Neighbor said probably 2, maybe even 3 weeks still to go. Feeling in no rush my plan was to sleep the day away, have coffee, then order some things off Amazon for the big event. Instead Monte woke me, led me to her. Nothing looked out of the ordinary so I fed and watered and treated them both. Turned around to exit kitchen and yep surprise she was going to have them. I had to quick throw together a makeshift birthing center in the bathroom. She had five – all healthy and robust. I was worried about the last one though, the runt of the litter. Mom was too exhausted to cut its cord, so I had to help her finish delivering it. But now it's in there kicking ass and taking names, fighting for food with the best of them. These kittens are such wild things, I've never seen newborn kittens whoop on each other this much! Next hurdle, seeing them weaned. :) Now even though it's only 7:30 I'm exhausted and unless I get a second wind expect to be in bed by 9 maybe even earlier. But it's a good kind of tired – new life brought into the world and all. Birth is just amazing.

Nothing exciting going on here! Probably watch a movie or two tonight :popcorn:

Love my DVR..... Winter Olympics tonite for me!

Cold, rainy weekend makes a perfect setting for curling up and watching the Olympics. Love the snowboarding. That would be fun to try!

We stayed in and celebrated my honey's birthday with friends and family.

After cake and ice cream, we had drinkies and played Cards Against Humanity. Always a winning combination :)

Won't be much shaking here on Green Acres...........

It was dinner out and a movie. Highly recommend Black Panther.

Not sure what the night might bring but I'm assuming nothing to earth shaddering.........

Curled up with both pups (one is mad at me and one keeps trying to steal my pillow), scrolling thru google images for unique ideas and listening to rerun episodes of Planet Earth.
