I'm retired now, but when I was working vacation and sick days were separate not like PTO these days so.........

1. death in the family
2. I really was sick
3. If I had sick days left, I'd 'false call in sick' cause in those days they didn't carry over so it was either use em or lose em!

1. waking up at exactly the same time everyday
2. taking the same exact walking route to the post office
3. ordering the same dishes at certain restuarants
