Touching base with a very special BFF. It always renews my soul to see my world/thoughts through her eyes.
I don't get to connect to het too often, but she is very much in my thoughts. Our friendship means the absolute world to me! Thank YOU! When we get to chat it always makes me smile.... |

I made dinner for my aunt and her friend. I was just reflecting on how much I love to play hostess.
It's interesting because I used to view this act as anti-feminist - getting all dolled up, and spending hours chopping, dicing, mixing, sauteing. Then the refilling glasses and plates all night. For whatever reason, I've gravitated toward the kitchen a lot more, lately. I think feeding others fulfills some primal need. That is, when you're cooking for people you like. |

Picking up my AbbyGoose from school and her new Tuba then late being treated to a Tuba and trombone serenade while I was fixing dinner :moonstars: that's my kid

When arriving home today...
There's a livestock watering tank turned upside down beside the shed...I got so tickled watching tiny birds have so much fun taking a bath in the rain puddle on top that tank and on the roof ridges of the shed. They were so happy in the sunshine, I think they were announcing Spring!!

The daffodils are blooming as are the Bradford Pears with their stinky white flowers. Spring is on its way!

Helping my customers who are getting married in June after 9 years together and 2 children find the perfect wedding set tonight. I put a rush on the ring sizing (4 3/4) for them and their appreciation was so evident!

Dinner out with my snuggly guy and now We're watching The Bourne Identity together. The fur babies are quiet and snuggly too. It's a nice ending to a nice day, despite the rain.

I got my hair cut off super short and I'm loving it. Only trouble – I got my eyebrows waxed as well which I'd never done before. It didn't hurt like I thought it would, but now I have red swelling both above and below my eyebrows! This not an attractive look. |

My dad called this morning to see if I wanted to grab some lunch and go see the local bald eagle's nest. There were two eaglets around 10 weeks old, and they looked like they were nearly ready to fledge. Not long after we were there, one of the parents swooped in with some prey. My dad said it looked like a rabbit.
They were pretty amazing to watch! I probably could have stayed all day to watch them if it hadn't been raining. |

I have been looking for Toosie Roll Midgets for over a week now. I was starting to think the Tootsie Roll peeps had halted their production.
Found some today and bought six 12-ounce bags. These are the thick ones too. It's on now! Heh Heh! ;) |
