Tonight I went to a Lesbian Herstory Archives benefit and the food was fucking awesome. That was dinner.

yesterday I baked a small ham so today i'm taking the leftovers and making pulled pork with bbq sause to make sandwiches with,the side will be baked seasoned fries.

Trying out a Iranian restaurant my coworker, who is Persian, told me about. She said it was fantastic and inexpensive, I can't wait to try it

I took some hamburger out so I am thinking spaghetti .

Red is cooking up a ham, dressing, green bean casserole, fresh rolls. We were with family during the holiday and she decided to cook our meal this weekend. No complaints here.

We will be having leftovers!

The other night I made a nice sirloin pot roast with red wine gravy, shallots, potatoes, carrots, onions, and fresh garlic.

Will probably do some cast-iron skillet cornbread with cheese, jalapeños, and onions on the side.

It was DIVINE and for some reason it's always better the second day. :)

Being I will be the only one home for dinner I will just fix something easy, soup or a tomato sandwich or grill cheese with tomato soup it's all good.

I had Jason's Deli chicken pot pie soup, salad and ginger ale. Little bit of carrot cake for desert. Feeling better now....had a yucky kinda day..

Nuked a Lean Cuisine French Bread Pizza, milk to drink, then a couple of Golden Oreos ... all blah - not really hungry. Not sure but I think I was sad today. Worked outside from 1:00 until a little past dark as hard as I could, really pushed myself to the edge, thinking it would leave. Well, at least the work temporarily distracted me somewhat. I think I don't like Christmas music in stores right now. Thought I'd bawl at Walmart in the paint department this morning. Felt that softball feeling coming up in my throat and thought "get the fuck out of here now!" My two heads of cabbage and I made a mad dash for check out. It kills me to snivel in front of anyone. Hope this the the last of it. Christmas is still 2.5 weeks away and I have to go into stores to buy food for Kelly, Kevin and I. And they are expecting Santa to bring them those 3 feet long rawhide bones. Santa hasn't shopped yet.

Mercy, this is the eating thread ... not touchy-feely!!! Chit, chit, chit!

Going to bed now if I can get a little wiggle room into bed - the KKs are sprawled all over my queen size bed.

Grill cheese and tomato soup is Classic! Sounds perfect for this weather.

My eldest child is cooking :| I should make sure our (volunteer) fire department is on stand-by. The child can't cook. We all tell her she needs to marry well...but...she's trying...so

We are having hot dogs and beans. I hear her toiling away in the kitchen.. I keep sniffing for anything burning....so far so good....

Red has been out of school because of the weather since Friday. I am getting to enjoy all of her great cooking :-). I am sitting here smelling her homemade sauce for our spaghetti dinner tonight. I'm not sure I can wait! No school for her tomorrow either. :-)

Duck and greens, with paleo cornbread, and a big ol slice of onion. Ummmm hummmm good!

Tonight: I used the crock pot today while at work -- made chicken thighs with diced onions, a few cloves of garlic and no sugar bbq sauce.

This will be turned into shredded bbq chicken, served with half sweet potato, and broccoli.

I decided to use the crock pot again now-- so I am making almond butter chicken (coconut aminos, onion, garlic, almond butter, lime/orange juice, cumin). This will be served over cauliflower rice and served with steamed broccoli and carrots.
