Oddly enough, I'm looking forward to appointment with the oral surgeon pn Wednesday. I don't expect the procedure itself to be any fun; it's an extraction of a cracked molar. I'm going to ask the surgeon how fast she thinks she can do it, and if she says 15 minutes or less, I'm going to do it without anesthesia. I don't want to pay for it, and I would also have to make an appointment to go back on another day and take along someone who would drive me.
I WILL pay for nitrous oxide. Hopefully she can extract the crown and three roots in under 15 minutes and while I'm there on Wednesday. I'm so tired of babying this tooth! It takes me forever to chew small bites only on the other side of my mouth. A couple of nights ago I tried to eat a steak, and I only ate about a fourth of it - and that took an hour along with a small baked potato and a few spoonsful of corn. |
Georgia, I know exactly how you feel. If you can take comfort in this, know that dentistry has improved their procedures since you remember last. I still hope that your procedures go quickly. If they numb you enough, it should be easy. Its just the sound that will be hard. Bring head phones.
Oddly enough, im looking forward to a procedure well. Mine is for my weakened leg veins. Its going to take a few visits but hopefully my left ankle will return and not be so swollen. My legs have gone thru 40+ retail years on my feet. Getting wiser as we age, we realize our health is so important. We used to take our bodies for granted! Drink lots of water!! |
it's supposed to be sunny..so planning dinner with my sister...we will probably grill 'something'....ahem...girls can't grill...we're sincere but we're awful ..i'd rather just have a piece of :chocolate: and call it done..they say chocolate is a replacement for s8x...no it's not
