the day jus kept gettin better..... a nap with my monster.....a shoppin trip which put a smile on my face the whole time.....gettin to see my beautiful dear ones do what they love in the arts.... lotioning/snuggles...and kissing blushing faces...

Today was just DANDY. When you are doing long distance, the little things really matter. We had a blast watching a marathon of a show we both like. I love hanging out with my girl. We are planning and looking forward to her next visit, 61 days! A light blanket of snow fell, the trees are flocked and pretty. Feeling peaceful and optimistic for the coming year. And of course HER always.

A rattie in the shower and a little dog that did not want to get out of my lap. Taking my AA chip for 29 years tonight and listening to my sister tell a story about me right before I got clean & sober. Actually, I turned red. I forgot about that little story.

Watching the two and a half year old living downstairs go out today with grandma and grandpa. I was tempted to run down the stairs and thank them profusely for removing the little shit from the premises. |
Being alive...being cancer free...being loved by so many
Waking up...to enjoy yet another gorgeous day...knowing "I am now whole & healthy" and am able to live...again...and being loved..in so many ways...by so many...just enjoying each and every day...it doesn't matter if it is cool, cold, warm, sunny, cloudy, rainy...because it is ALWAYS sunny in my heart! I am so thankful to have had a successful surgery and the "C" now gone..I am truly blessed...so I will take it all..and make it better!! I love being me....I love my family of friends here and IRL....I am blessed...I truly am...so I smile...inside out..each and every day...I let go of all of yesterdays..and I don't look back..I am where I am because of all I have had to endure...so tomorrow is a gift..one in which I can NOT wait to open it...I am able to keep negativity out of my life...I want only good, positive, and happy, sun shine in mine...Clay

it's 48 degrees right now. I get to run in the *RESOLUTION* race. It's just a 10 k for walkers or runners.
