Your smell and taste buds change as you become more and more clean. Hell I have super sonic sniffer now..ha I can smell everything. Just keep doing well. And don't be asamed to use an aide if need be. That is what they are there for. For those of us who needed a crutch inbetween point a and b. |

Well.. you were right,that one cheater set me back to withdrawal day one again. But I can't stop trying because breathing is non-negotiable.

Okay a friend is going to bring me an ecig they never used so I can check it out and I am looking at some herbal supports to help out too. I just really need to quit. Each failure at not quitting seems like such a bummer. And it is past time. enough with the excuses and such. I am going to be firm with myself. :readfineprint: for myself.

okay still a wussy today. I am going to do my best to stave off smoking. goal... find smokers cleanse product to help out... focus on breathing and more breathing.

2 cigs today, not too bad. ugh didn't want to do any. I was taking a herbal supplement and it had oats, duh didn't think to look for that and itchy all over.
switching to the smokers cleanse and hoping that helps. staring at the ecig box thinking it is awfully complicated and I am not up for that at the moment. tomorrow I will tackle that. tonight just breathing. breathing and more breathing. oh and maybe ice cream. |
I did it.
6 weeks as of yesterday. I had tried to quit in the past but never stuck with it. This time I just decided out of the blue that I was done. Gave the last two away and did it. The first week was the hardest. I just stayed away from fellow smoker's and out of the gas station I purchased them at. When I want one I picture my babies' faces or other reasons I want to hang around this world a little longer.
6 weeks and one day later.... I feel healthier, I smell better (when it isn't 106 degrees out) and I can hit notes when I sing that I haven't been able to in a very long time. Best wishes to you all. You can do it. |

I desire to bring it down, have it stay down and lower the BP meds (I don't know if I will ever get off). I go back to the doctors in 2 weeks. I don't think Chantix will be a choice for me but hopefully some other options will be. The cheering section, I will read the posts. Water, water, water.
