Spend time with them and really hear what they're saying. Listening is not the same as hearing someone, imho.

Do a little something something that's unique to the person you care about. For example, find a way to do something for them that makes their life a little easier (get their car a car wash and detail gift certificate...).

Spring for a night at the movies. It's not cheap to do that, but if ya got a friend who likes to go to the movies and they haven't been in awhile, like my best friend here at home, then swing by on an impromptu visit and see if they'd like to go to the movies.

I can't *LOL* I don't like drugs (prescribed medication), hate taking the 3 that I have to take right now, and can't wait to be drug free again. By July, I hope to accomplish being free of medication.

I cannot think of one single thing about this person that is likeable or any redeeming qualities they might possess (which most likely is zero).
