Dinner, and conversation---all the way home, even when I stopped for gas.

Watching the OSU - Stanford game with my new friend, DN, at the club. OSU won in overtime! It was a back and forth game but that's just part of the story. I had such a fun time with her, she's so real, single, no head games. Getting to know her is what's making me smile every day. :D

I LOVE THIS!! :) I went out of town once and when I returned and opened my office door my co-workers had turned everything in my office upside-down...even my desk!!! Another time they moved my entire office into the bathroom. It was hysterical. :)

One time a coworker went on vacation for a week, and when she was gone we cleared everything from her desk (I mean everything- phone, computer, etc.), and hid her chair. It was a good time.

Holy crap!

Just found out I got into the apartment building I wanted. It's right in the gaybourhood, a grocery store two doors down, lots of coffee shops and restaurants, bookstores, and a 24 hour drug store 2 blocks away. Move in day is Feb 1.

A set of microfleece sheets - pink - came to my office this morning. I sent a text to my daughter asking her if she wanted them (brand new, returning x-mas present). She said her boyfriend would have a problem with pink. I laughed. I could identify. I guess they are going to be returned to the store afterall.... but microfleece...ooohhhh aaaaahhhhh nice for northern weather.

I'm famous, errr, infamous for doing things like that. When people leave, i'd put a tiny piece of tape under their trackball mouse or laser light, disabling the mouse. Creating a fake desktop that didn't actually have any pointer is also fun. Oh, and i've hidden a webcam (not plugged in, just tucked the wires away) in the vent in the ceiling of a coworker's office. She was all kinds of paranoid that she was being watched. Let's see, um, put plastic wrap over the toilet bowl (under the seat) in the men's bathroom, filled an office with balloons and TP'ed an office. This could be why i'm self-employed, eh?

A wonderful hair stylist....who made Rooster comfortable and chatty....then turned around and made mom feel good about her appearance again. The chemo has thinned her hair so much that she felt it was impossible to "look decent" and had just pulled it all back in a hair band.

This lovely lady, on hearing about the cancer and the chemo, took the extra time to show Mom how to blow dry in more volume....and mom left with a smile on her face, and a very flattering new style.

I am always impressed by people who take the time to be sensitive and kind. :rrose:
