It's a beautiful Carolina morning! My patio door is open and there is the most delicious breeze bringing cool, sweet, fresh air into my home!

Strawberry season in Georgia so we will go picking this weekend
Making homemade strawberry shortcake (all from scratch including the cake) Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray and products for hair. I feel like I am already at the beach! "The Great Gatsby" opens in theatres today! Vacation plans for the mountains in June and the beach in July have been confirmed! :happyjump: Katniss~~ |
Running my fingers over the remembrances of last nights love. Looking in the mirror and having the marks sing to my heart. Touching one exquisite one i looked at my reflected image and had a devilish smile.

Chessie had two tennis balls in his mouth...It apparently is so cavernous, that I did not even realize he had one in his mouth. On his evening walk, I put him through his paces, and I was not surprised to find that he is fully trained, but just needed a Mommy who means what she says, and still gives him hugs, kisses, and sweet talk for every successfully obeyed command.
The hardest thing to say no to, is the 24 hour need to play fetch. The looks he gives me are so adorable, and it is hard to ignore the slime covered ball dropped on your lap. |

What made me smile today
my daughter finding the need to introduce me to every one of her Drama classmates.. even if i already met them.

So... I just bought this dress for Pride. It's 2 months away, so i'll probably change my mind, lol, but I wanted to buy a rainbow dress, and BAM.. There it was :) I ordered it online, so who knows if I will like it when it comes, but I am hoping I can make it work, even if I have to tailor it.

Having a dislike for needles and shots all my life and had to quickly get over it today.
Had to learn how to give my older cat IV Fluids today so that I can do it on my own twice daily going forward. |
Making progress with walking a bit further post spine surgery. But damn, recovering from earlier surgeries when younger sure was easier! Big smile anyway!!!
