I have loved her music since I first heard her songs on an album, back when I was only 17 years old, at an school friend's overnight slumber party for a few of us who went to high school, years ago. Kate's voice is so lovely. She wrote her own lyrics and chords too. If I recall correctly, she lived in northern California during the late 1960s, early 1970s. She died at an early age from complications of cancer (I believe) :hangloose:
