I'm afraid I might be fired tomorrow. (I've never been fired in my life!). If I am it will be complete and utter wankery.

I am wickedly PMS.

I've just seen the hugest opossum ever, it was so huge it set the motion sensors off and the floodlights on. It tried to scurry off but couldn't fit under my neighbors SUV. :|

I did not imagine the opossum.

So this dog, Rudy or Silas or whatever his name is, has brought me a perq. I looked up the vet's number and saw that I'd clicked on the "About Us" before. Oh, yeah. There's this Swedish babe vet in there that's new. I made an apptmt specifically with her--because Rudy/Silas had seen her last time. Like that matters for mange.


I wonder if she does geckos.... That didn't come out right.

me (in my brain): YAY!!! We're gonna talk about SEX!!!

after class chatting with the group....

classmate sara: "i'm so glad i'm finally in a class with intelligent people who know that the F-word stands for feminism!"

did not get fired (may have had a touch of the pms-fueled melodrama when in my insomniatic state last night)

did manage to pull out a tactical and offensive win, despite myself.

is now ready to collapse in a heap.

Post - conference activity and my love of my work has been eclipsed by the death of a client on Tuesday and the death of a very dear friend last night...

Sometimes it is these kinds of things that speak to the real stuff of life...
