The kids and I joined together and made stew. It was really alot of fun to come together and cook. It really got my mind off of the recent break up and it was fun to laugh again I missed it

Suggestions on how to handle a very difficult situation with ideas that never crossed my mind. In the middle of a storm sometimes you lose your way. :pirate-steer: I just found out the house I signed off on is still in " our" names, and thought that was a bad thing..until someone splained it to me that if the situations gets to the point that someone can't make decisions for themselves, and I am the Power of Attorney, that would be easier for me to deal with..too long a story unless we were at Starbuck;s but. i did smile alot today. What made me smile...
Last night at dinner, D pleaded her case to me that she wanted to have a lil' fun. I know what that means... casino. So I smiled and said, "come on boo, let's go". We took the short 30 minute drive to Louisiana to do a lil' gambling. On my first $20 I put in a slot machine, I won $160. Then she won $85 :) You would have thought we won the lottery! |

A students face light up with total glee when he reminded me it was his birthday. "Ms. Smith I am 6 today, remember, on the 12th?" Oh I hope I covered well because what is more delightful than knowing when your birthday is and being 6!

A semi-lazy day that included me sleeping in until 2pm, on and off..
Went and got an 'engagement' ring for Bard - it is pretty sexy (and 60% did not hurt either..).. then we went to Johnny Rocket's.. hit a clearance sale at Bath & Body Works (got lots of body spray, and 22 votive candles + holder for $1.50 apiece)..then got some new sneakers.. Today was a good day, and fun! Did I mention I played The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for 6 hours on the Wii? :) |
