Us, too, Diva! It's pouring down rain! Surprisingly, it hasn't been a very rainy winter, thus far.

I like that, just because you write in a thread, it doesn't automatically subscribe you to that thread!!

That's cool. :D

McGwire Balls

I have a 1991 autographed baseball signed by A's Big Mac the druggie... :deepthoughts:

APNewsBreak: Mark McGwire admits using steroids (AP)

AP - Sobbing and sniffling, Mark McGwire finally answered the steroid question. Ending more than a decade of denials and evasion, McGwire admitted Monday what many had suspected for so long — that steroids and human growth hormone helped make him a home run king.

The cat thinks he's a dog and is chasing his tail on the couch.
It is actually quite amusing.

always2late 01-11-2010 09:05 PM

I looked, I listened, and then...unfortunately...I learned.

NJFemmie 01-11-2010 09:21 PM

My cats eat pea soup.
I'm learning something new every day.

Diva 01-11-2010 09:22 PM

It is ALMOST funny when I discover that there are people who do what they accuse ME of doing.

Funny.....in a sad sorta way...... :kettlepot:

I love being human......wouldn't you like to be a human, too?
:superfunny:

If WE can't get married, then I think hetero divorce should be illegal.....I mean....they think THEIR marriages are all that, right? But we won't discuss how more than 50% of their marriages end in the Big D (no, precious wonders....not Dallas)...........

I know, I know....but this IS the Random Thread! :D

The pea soup originally had ham and potatoes in it.
By the time I put down the bowl, the only thing left was the soup.
My girl cat was always a picky eater and rarely ever ate table food.
She's very old now and has changed a lot of her ways. She surprises me every day with the things she does. LOL
(But she's still as cute as the kitten I brought home 17 years ago).

NJFemmie 01-11-2010 09:35 PM

I gave the dog at work some carrots not too long ago. I wonder if she pooped orange.

?

NJFemmie 01-11-2010 09:40 PM

My boy cat likes to eat broccoli, and need I say more?
(Not a good idea)

NJFemmie 01-12-2010 01:11 PM

I used to have a cat named Ebony (the cutest little kitten on the planet), and she used to play fetch with me. She would jump up on the bed with her little ball in her mouth and drop it in front of me. She would then jump off the bed and stand in position, anticipating the throw.

That cat would play fetch for HOURS and I mean HOURS. There was no tiring her out or boring her.

God I miss her.

She was given to me by one of the guys I used to work with. He came in to my office, placed her gently in my mail slot (it was a pretty big mail slot, but she was as small as a minute so she had plenty of room).... knowing that even though I didn't need another cat, I would end up taking her home. (He found her on the streets of Newark somewhere and brought her all the way to Hoboken, lol). What a guy.

She kind of looked like this ----> http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/images...ack-kitten.jpg
but her eyes were bronze.

And I need to stop torturing myself now.

*sigh*

Clever cats NJ

When I get a kitten again, she'll be a Scottish Fold. I heard they raise them in Georgia. Their ears fold naturally, they are even tempered and love children.
The breed is short and long haired.

I'll name her Hildy.
