I am knocking out my week night chores and snacking in between. Not sure if I will have dinner or just snacks. The news is on in the background.

I'm thinking about "relationships"... I'm a bit like a squirrel: I load up my cheeks with the good stuff so that when lean times come I have something to chew on till the sun comes out again. However, if I'm finally famined, exhaust my reserves, and find myself eating the eating the insides of my own cheeks, I move on.

listening to the wind. It's wild tonight. There is a piece of metal on the roof that sounds like the roof is going to fly off.
The combo of the train and the wind sounds like the train is in the backyard. Oh wait, isn't that the sound of a tornado? |

I am winding down a 10 hour work day.

Sitting at my desk eating the best bowl of chicken soup I've had in a long time from a local "hole in the wall."
Along with chicken it includes onion, cilantro, rice, avocado. It's just perfect. |

I'm mopping up my teary face, as I just finished watching Kelly Clarkson's performance on AI tonight and it was so touching and emotional, and I'm trying to wind down so I can get into bed and get a head start on tomorrow. It's going to be a busy day.

Watching CNNs coverage of the SC Democratic primary with Anderson Cooper. It's always nice to see Donna Brazile, Nia-Malika Henderson, and David Axelrod, but the go-to dude for me is John King.
He understands the polling districts better than most. I don't really like him as a television personality, but on polling nights he's the man I like to watch. |

Stiiiiiiiil at an all day volleyball tournament. You might think that means we are winning because we are still here. Not true. They punish you extra for losing by making you ref the remaining games. With luck we will get out of here at 9:00 so we can get up and do it again tomorrow. :seeingstars:

Calling it a day....
I had fun with the pups...got out in the beautiful day....then came home and cooked and cleaned... I started cleaning my bedroom really well...meant to seek curtains and get rods to hang them....my mother will ground me if she sees I have no curtains in my bedroom yet...lol I only sleep in there! I'm bargaining with myself that I may go to bed and read IF I get up and finish my room first thing.....and I am inspired to do so... |
