Waking up to an email from her. After texting her good morning receiving one back immediately. Her being there for me the past couple days when things haven't been good in my world. Her standing still.

The way I can hear the smile in her voice as she hears my voice. The way we respect each other. The way we listen to each other. The way we are able to work through things.

waking up in the middle of the night to a cute cuddly kitty and his snoring big brother..now that im officially awake, seeing them play together. My big boy Sponge really needed something to get him up and moving again, and the little one was just the trick!

Being able to be there for a friend today. Not sure if I was much help, but it felt good.

Of course waking up to an email from her. Her making time for me this morning. The way we laugh with each other. The way she knows when I am smiling. The way she gets me. The way we are learning more about each other. The way we support each other in our journey.

My Gaige, who again got a significant pay raise for all of her appreciated hard work, and a card I got in the mail that was signed with love, "Chessie, Chase, Obi, Chewy, Oliver, Max, Garriff, Perseus, and Zeus", that included a SB Gift Card. My boys & girl, and my butch, they are so good to me!

Talking with my mom tonight on the phone and realizing that she allows me to grow and experience and discover things without her opinion anymore. This isn't the same person who raised me. She too has grown over the years. I understand so much more and appreciate her wisdom and knowledge.

Orientation went wonderfully :)
My company is just amazing. I have never known such generosity. I found out today that besides mileage (.55/mile) and generous vacation time, they also have an expense account. So, if a client wants to go out to lunch, I just submit my receipt and the cost of my meal is covered! It's so nice to find such a lovely, accepting, gay-friendly work place. I really feel like I will be appreciated here...and the best part is they REALLY encourage continuing our educations. I have found a lovely home away from home. :) Oh! AND...my actual title is.....wait for it...."Professional Angel" It says so right on my job description! :angel: |

For those of you who don't know me, I work a wonderful job in retail. Today I was stuck behind customer service for half of my day and I wasn't exactly happy about it. I had an especially difficult customer, and following her I had several compliments about how well I handled the situation. They all told me how pleasant I was and how much they appreciated me. It put a huge grin on my face! Today I ended my day thinking...retail isn't so bad. :)
