I'm going to get some new things for my new apartment today- new dishes, new cookware, and whatever else catches my eye. I want my new place to be beautiful and girly and entirely my own.

I was having a rough morning today, but my kids came in and sang a song and made me laugh. I really seen how amazing they are and how lucky of a mom I am. My oldest had his gf over to see them all playing and having fun has really made today a good one.

Sliding around the grocery store in my warm and fuzzy boots. I was in a fun mood so I was pushing the cart really fast and sliding behind it (my boots have almost no traction). Making a snowman with my 9 year old! Using the lumps of coal his sister gave him for Christmas for the eyes. Life is good.

My kitchen ..
Getting it all tidy and things put in their places... out of all the places I've rented, this kitchen feels the most cozy and comfy. ...I'm trying to focus my energy on something other than a failed attempt to fix my washer... I poured myself into working on my kitchen and the results make me smile. I think this place reflects my personality and charm. I like the 1950's feel of the kitchen ...it makes me feel as if I'm at home with Gramma by my side. |
