Driving through downtown Cincinnati after getting off work. I hear a horn and look over. A guy in a truck yells over that he is looking for some gay bars. Takes one to know one. :) I pointed him in the right direction.

I got to spend the afternoon with my bff... AND we fixed my car. :) Damn I've missed her.

I hung Hummingbird feeders on my porch last week and while eating supper tonight I had a visitor....Yup a Hummingbird visitor.

I was at work, at my client's assisted living facility. I went in the activity room attempting to track down her missing walker. There was a group of ladies (residents) in the room, and they were all so sweet and sympathetic about the loss of the walker. :)
As I was leaving, I heard them talking amongst themselves saying what a sweet girl I was...and that I had a wonderful smile.... :blush: What can I say...animals and the elderly love me! And it's a two way street! :) |

Her laughter. Looking thru her pictures & older posts on Facebook. Thinking about California. She made me smile. She always does. |

Waking up and calling her. Being on the phone with her after I got home last night from work. That was totally amazing by the way because she is usually asleep when I get home. Knowing in 2 days I am going to be kissing her!!!!!!

What made me laugh hysterically....
getting a random phone call at work, about work realted issues. Hanging up the phone and realizing I was talking to Durx8 :) I sent him a text, and when he called me back we both couldn't help from laughing because we were both using our "professional" voices and didn't have a clue!!!! What a small freakin' world, huh?!?!?! |
What made me smile was a gentle help from a friend.

Getting someone to work with my second client of the day....I was beat tired and not feeling great. My agency is so understanding.... and the family was wonderful about it. :)

I was cleaning and reorganizing my closet and came across a baseball cap that says WASHBURN across the front. It belongs to my best friend, Stu. He went to washburn, and wouldn't ever take that hat off when I first met him. He left it here when he moved to Texas a few years ago and for some reason I still have it. Looking at it reminded me of all of the good times we had together, and how much both of us have grown in the last few years. Big smiles on my face today :)

I woke up to go to the bathroom and I could hear my next door neighbor (whom I have met) in the hallway talking to other neighbors... about me...
They all want to know who the mysterious new tenant is. LOL The one I met (already forgot her name) told them I work nights and sleep days. They can't figure out if I'm gay or straight and they think I'm male but aren't sure. I was trying not to giggle as I eavesdropped by the door. For the record: I live in a *very* diverse (and way gay) neighborhood. |

Went and picked up a mini schnauzer girl from Manteca...she is absolutely precious and I am in love with her already

Putting her to bed early tonight so that she was well rested today. Waking up to a text from her this morning. Being able to call her when I get up. Being on the phone with her as I am posting to her.
