  • I was really happy to see Passionara come into donut enlightenment!!
  • Happy New Years Confessors and those who read in the confessional
  • I am losing motivation with work. I am thankful to have a job but tired of having to remind myself to grateful I have a job
  • I wonder if Gemme will have to do 8 lbs of work everyday. And now of course I wonder what calculations would be used to convert her work into pounds.
  • Ok and now I confess I am really a geek because some real calculations popped into my brain *laughing*
  • I confess now I want a donut but I don't know what kind
  • I was accused of being one who thinks too much. The nerve of them!

•I hate this insomnia I have had for past two months.

•GT made me want a donut. With chocolate frosting and cream (not custard) filled.

Gail, I know it must be frustrating to have someone tell you when you can or cannot have money for things and I know that, with the sweat of one's own brow, comes a sense of self-worth and accomplishment.

I know all that.

BUT...

Having said that....saying something like that....in this economy.....at the levels of unemployment everywhere....with people who would KILL to be able to have a trust fund of any size in any way...is INCREDIBLY insensitive.

After about 4.5 months of being unemployed, I am just now in my second week at a job. I haven't even received a check yet, but I would move Hell and Earth to keep this job. It's not what I wanted or hoped for, but it's been good to me thus far and I'm damn grateful for it and I know, in the scheme of things, I am VERY fortunate.
