sunday!.... In my recliner reading sunday paper.No coffee so far.Home depot is on my list....i had ordered a stainless steel fridge for my mother in law apt and when they brought it yesterday......it was 1 inch to wide....YIKES!

Well I'm kinda late but Happy Sunday to all!!!!!!! I cooked omelettes and ham steaks, did morning chores, then we headed out for a nice Sunday drive. Home now with a roast in the crock pot, watching Lifetime movies. Everyone enjoy your week ahead!! :cigar2:

Here's to DST!!!! I remembered to set clocks ahead 1 hour last night. Going to be finishing up last few dregs of packing for movers when they come in AM to load truck! Having brunch with our sisters of the Rainbow here for last time....:(. My honey is off all next week. An older friend of mine who fell a couple times last month is all healed up and back home from rehab so I’m going over later to get him and take him to church. Meanwhile my morning is just going slow and lazy as I finish up drying a last load of clothes, heat water so I can French press up some coffee, and work on doing a little ironing.

Spring break for Red! I only have a weeks vacation this year so we are taking mini trips. Going to Memphis in May, then a few instate long weekends. I love the extra light, love being outside. One more freeze on the way then it's hands in the dirt.

Happy Sunday! I went grocery shopping on an empty stomach, bought stuff I don't usually buy (pork chops, corned beef brisket, freshly baked rye bread), but it's all good :).
Right now I'm folding clothes, watching Tamron Hall and the talking heads, drinking water, and wondering what to eat for breakfast. I might do my taxes and I might not. Not driving on the freeway this weekend, just playing it cool. I expect to have a good week and hope y'all do, too! :bow: |
A lazy day for us....
I got up early and fed the pets, made breakfast and coffee and took our friend to Church. My sick honey stayed home to rest.:hangloose: After Church I took our friend out to lunch (45 minute wait), then stopped for medicine at the local cvs for my honey. I'm doing laundry and starting dinner now...yep, Sunday overeasy! Lolololol |
No such thing for me this morning. I was up early and got at 'em right away.
Laundry, spray painting a metal shelving unit, resetting clocks, breakfast, taking care of the :cat: and his box, unloading and loading the dishwasher, putting together the new vacuum, vacuuming an area to make sure I put it together right and tidying up in general comprised the majority of my morning. I also had to run to the store to get more spray paint because one of the cans was not working properly. |

Celebrating Palm Sunday to those whom do! It is a pretty morning sun thus far & a little overcast! Honey & I will have some sausage gravy & scrambled eggs in a bit. We will be going over to the island to meet up with her son & DIL for brunch later this AM, as they are on vacay from the northern area. I have been to the gym and have made breakfast and eaten so far. Before I hop into the shower, I'm going to do a small painting project and then get ready for work. It hasn't been overeasy as it has been a steady paced kind of morning, but it hasn't been very busy either.

Drinking coffee and watching an interview of Qwen Stefani on Sunday Morning. In a couple of hours I will be passing out certificates of completion to my Confirmation class students. These kids have been an extra bit of sunshine in my life. They are junior high age and still have some of their childlike ways but also turning into teens. I think the thing I admire the most about the kids is that they are still very authentic with their thoughts and feelings. Their creativity is still alive and not yet squelched by expectations and rules as if one size really does fit all.
