Having my first gardening bid of the summer accepted on a day when the weather was so completely gorgeous

And it's a combined butterfly-vegetable garden that's perfectly framed by ThisClient's giant-ass window looking out from their living room dining room...ALL of their visitors are going to see it

Finding out this client was referred by one of my favorite, best clients

My sunflower seeds popped up, and they're looking fabulous

My transplanted roses are taking off

The nicotiana is getting ready to go crazy

My bulbine is blooming

The snapdragons are opening

The gaillardia is getting ready to bust

Sunshine, sitting on the porch while my children play, fresh air and country living.

I got to see my grandniece, who lives in Tenn. We have grown dear to one another...she is a young teen and is growing up so fast...

and I got to see my sister and my daughter today too..we four went out for dinner at our favorite place, the Flaming Ice Cube (its on the web!), a vegan restaurant. (No, I am not vegan but I love their food)

We were all laughing so much, people were smiling at how happy we all were.

My daughter slipped away and went to their gift shop and came back with a new web kinz..the portuguese water dog! It looks just like my black and white newfie!

it was a fine time with maids, mothers and crones...

I mentioned to a friend I could hear geese honking and heard the most stupid joke of all time.

It's so stupid it's funny.

Question: Do you know why when geese fly in an arrow one side is longer than the other?

Answer: Because there are more geese on that side.

Friday! Friday has brought me absolute joy. Dance the hokey-pokey in your office joy. Putting my left foot in and heading under the exit sign; Friday joy...the fact that it's 71 degrees and sunny in NY only serves to augment my joy! ; )

worms in my garden beds. I didn't even have to add them. They came on their own.

Deciding at the last minute to schedule a massage for after work today. Stress of the week - be gone!
