We had rice and beans with kilbasa and some ice cream. It was yummy. My lady takes good care of my tummy.

SimpleAlaskanBoy 09-28-2010 06:22 PM

Had strawberries and orange juice with lotsa ice until my head started pounding and my tummy started feeling queasy again. Then I had pain pills and a tummy pill and went to bed for a while. Fun.

~HOT~ Glazed donuts and coffee from Krispy Kreme. :)

Hey not a word about this! I did choose to NOT have ice cream from the Cold Stone for dessert, so save it! lol

sylvie 09-28-2010 08:23 PM

hmm, i actually forgot to eat tonight..
but did snack on some strawberries & grapes a little earlier..

Kenna 09-28-2010 08:35 PM

My "adopted" family took me to dinner.... I enjoyed a very yummy Ruben, a salty pickle and several glasses of sweet tea

Laerkin 09-28-2010 08:47 PM

Running late from work to class meant a burrito from Taco Bell while driving. NOT ideal, but at least I got some food in my belly. Everyone's dessert-y-ness is torturing me. Hrmph.

squeak 09-28-2010 09:25 PM

Despite the record-breaking LA heatwave in a small, A/C-deprived apartment, I baked banana bread and the phenomenal General Tao's Tofu.

WORTH IT.

Beef burgers and mac 'n cheese

Miss Scarlett 09-29-2010 04:40 AM

Birthday cake...and whatever else I want...maybe even something I haven't had in 2 years - pizza...don't know yet.

Never thought these words would ever spring forth from me, but I am getting a little tired of birthday cake...LOL

StillettoDoll 09-29-2010 01:23 PM

Beef enchiladas and spanish rice

Heavenleahangel 09-29-2010 02:31 PM

I put a roast in the crock pot this morning on low. It has the entire house smelling oh so good! Im making rice and will thicken the roast juice up so it can go on the rice and over biscuits. Its the end of our growing season, so we try to use what ever we can out the gardens and fresh corn is almost over. I will slice some tomatoes for those who like them and fresh green beans for others.

Gemme 09-29-2010 03:49 PM

I haven't a clue yet. The fridge needs to be cleaned out so it's most likely going to be a variety of things. There's some veggie pasta with light alfredo sauce that needs to be eaten...some strawberries...some green beans...and a dab of this and a dab of that.

lipstixgal 09-29-2010 03:58 PM

I had fajitas, brussel sprouts, chocolate cheese cake and diet pepsi sticking with my diet so I can be well!!

jenny 09-29-2010 04:54 PM

Leftover Persian food from dinner out the other night. It's even better now than it was then!

Abigail Crabby 09-29-2010 05:06 PM

I put together my spicy beef ribs in the crock pot before I left for work.

It was rice and beans and kielbasa for me and chili dogs, a small wrap and strawberries for Organic. Both of us had skim milk and graham crackers for dessert.

Soft*Silver 09-29-2010 05:44 PM

I had a McDonald's hamburger. I was getting sick being out and about so I had to eat something and i was right by the McDs. I decided to stop and eat in the car. Good thing! One bite got stuck! Not like a choke, but like it couldnt go any further. A clog. I had to straighten way up and put my arms over my head and tilt my head back to open my esophagus and eventually it went down. Well then. No driving and eating for me!

Blade 09-29-2010 06:00 PM

fresh silver queen cream corn over homemade biscuit

Ooooh I am excited! My director will be staying with me for the night and I can feel it in my previous life Indian soul...

I will be having Samosa's, Sag Paneer (oooo feast my belly) and Nan! Maybe I will even splurge and have Lasoni Gobi (OMG)

WolfyOne 09-30-2010 02:26 PM

I thawed out boneless skinless chicken breast
Now I just have to decide how I want to cook them
I look at cooking like a mysterious adventure
After checking the cabinets and fridge to begin,
I can't wait until I get there to partake in the outcome

Corkey 09-30-2010 03:08 PM

Also for me, chicken in a white wine sauce with feta and fettucini and capers.
Ami is having chicken bbq'd with what ever she wants along with it.

Gemme 09-30-2010 06:27 PM

Taco Hell, although I'm proud to say I ate waaaaaay less than I usually do. I've been known to put away one of their 12 tacos for $10 deals all by myself. :|

Still not perfect, I did eat four.

*burp*

Excuse me!

:byebye:

Cowboi 09-30-2010 06:59 PM

BBQ brisket, a couple of ribs, cole slaw, tea

dixie 09-30-2010 07:41 PM

I had a grilled cheese a while ago...getting kinda hungry now. Unfortunately I'm at work which means all I have in my cubby is junk food...lol

dixie 09-30-2010 09:30 PM

Ok...checked the cubby. Looks like tonight's dinner will consist of hot & spicy chicharrones and peanut butter cups...and maybe a fruit roll-up... :|

I was taught a very simple thing to do to the sandwich pre grilling to make it extra creamy and oh, so yummy. I shan't say it here since my honey would never eat another one again, but it really works.

Oh, and I fancy it up sometimes too, with slapping a couple of thin slices of honey ham on it or using swiss or pepperjack cheese instead of American or I might throw a few roasted red pepper strips in the middle too. All kinds of yumminess abounds when one's working with a grilled cheese sandwich. :tease:

I've had nights like that.

My old hotel had a community snack drawer and you never knew what was in it to tempt you during the graveyard shifts. During the summers, our Hawaiian baseball team came (every year for ten years now) and they bring boxes of Hawaiian candy (macadamia nuts covered in chocolate) that are soooo bad for you but soooo good to eat. My mouth is watering now. :|

Anywho, take your fruit by the piece, the can, the cup, the bowl or the foot. However you can get it.

I love grilled swiss cheese sandwiches. And ummm Gemme. While the rest of the world would probably dig your creative variations....I'm sure SOOOOOMEONE is making faces at it right now as she reads it. LOL

ummm There's really very little fruit in the fruit gummies or 'by the foot'. It's usually corn syrup first. Just sayin'.

(I like Gemme's answer better...*snicker*) :D

Wryly 09-30-2010 10:13 PM

Had a late dinner with my nice SIL. We had salad loaded with flax seeds, soy peanut-thingys and pumpkin seeds doused with an olive oil dressing. French bread dipped in olive oil. BBQ chicken from the grocery store. Ice tea.

QueenofSmirks 09-30-2010 10:36 PM

I had a salad/sandwich combo (mixed greens/ chicken salad on 10-grain bread) at one of my new favorite places to eat: Paradise Bakery and Cafe :)

Soft*Silver 10-01-2010 02:16 AM

one kibi, a chocolate pudding and a spoon of hummus.

SnackTime 10-01-2010 04:46 PM

Trying a new dish tonight...

Rice with Black Beans

This is a new recipe I found. The dish has brown rice, black beans, stewed tomatoes, garlic and oregano. Not too bad!

lipstixgal 10-01-2010 04:51 PM

I had pizza, a salad and some hummus and chocolate little cakes for dessert, later yogurt for a snack..

StillettoDoll 10-01-2010 06:30 PM

Ceaser Salad with tuna salad, very good

Cowboi 10-01-2010 08:15 PM

Grilled pork chop, sweet potato, salad, H2O
