Despite the nightmare about work, I woke up smiling because one, I don't have to work today, and two, I get to spend a little extra time with Gaige this morning before she has to go to bed :)

My wife did we have been crafting different things together for our new etsy shop watching her and working with her well it is just awesome:rrose:

After a hellacious day yesterday, my boo & I had plans to see a friend of ours, who is dating a comedian (Jen Kober). She was performing at a casino resort about 45 minutes from us. The show was freakin awesome... we laughed until we cried!
Then they gave us her comped room at the resort for the night, so we wouldn't have to drive back to Texas last night. We stretched out in the most comfortable king size bed EVER... and we slept like babies :) |
Waking up realizing Peppa finally slept through the night... then she decided it was time to bathe my face in kisses lol... I love that dog...

Nothing has ever made me laugh as much as this. This is one of the weathermen from Omaha NE after he moved to TX and got a job on the news there. I got to give a cute little 2 year old a Barbie doll. I whispered to her mother that she could have the Barbie if she wanted her to have it. So nice cause didn't seem like she had much. Made my day. She went and picked up the other toys when I told her to. And then she came back with a motorcycle!
I said...well, you can't have both! She was adorable. |

My 7th grader holding my hand at middle school open house. We walked hand in hand to every class. When we walked outside to the car she told me I was a good mommy with fabulous style. *smiles* She melts me sometimes.

Dinner with Daddy
Seeing two of my favorite people kinda sorta coupling.. both being happy.. makes me happy! Tomorrow we get the kiddo, and we will recycle, donate old clothes, go on a walk.. Not sure what else! We strive to emphasis giving back to the community and helping others, and eating healthy and exercising - for well being. |

Seeing my daughter working so hard to learn some new music and working extra hard at her chores while she tries to prove to me shes grown up enough to audition for a musical this spring.

Spending time with my youngest daughter...I don't see her nearly enough now that she's in school...
She told me all about school...and she's very excited about clinical coming up :) She has taken after her ol' ma and gone into healthcare... :) She is wanting to be a nurse also...I just couldn't be prouder of my baby.... <3 <3 <3 |

Cruising thru Chico i point out an old Victorian house to my dotter i told her she needs to get a good job so she could put me up in it when i am old..i then told her i needed a butch to help me..she said a butch? i said yup one like so & so but not so & so..she said ooohhhh lol..
I love kids they just see the person for being a person. her mind is like a blooming flower I love it. i was also talking to her about things in general and she pops off with we are victims i pop back off with no we are not victims we are never victims we are lesson learners.. nice spin on it i think :chocolate: |

cinnamongrrl's glow sure is bright this morning! ;) Got up about 4:45 a.m. this morning. Immediately let the 2 KKs out to pee. It is noticeably cooler outside and they loved it. They came in romping and wiggling, very frisky! Watching them put a broad smile on my face. I notice, most times, it is little things that really do it for me. |

My oldest pal - spending the day at the park we used to play in when we were kids. Watching our girls play like we used to. When we got home her husband came in and kissed her which made me cry because it was nice and because I can't remember anyone ever doing that to me. She hugged me and said she loves me and that I will meet someone. She's never said that before. I had wondered if she disapproved of me because she is very conventional but when I told her my fears about living with a woman and how would my daughter feel, she said that times have changed and it's no big deal these days. Felt like what it must feel like to have a mother to talk to.
