I am sitting here at the keyboard thinking about the last four days myself, my wife and our friends shared talking, laughing, learning, and entertainment. I think some of the best times were all of us crammed into my car and making clever remarks and joking. I tell you when you get a bunch of femmes and butches together, there is always some fun.

seeing some things take shape around the house.

On my way to work today I saw a young doe prance across the road and disappear into the bush, it was a great start to what I knew was going to be a busy day.

so SO many things....

Kayaking in a gorgeous estuary...

Seeing (and hearing) an osprey on it's nest...

Snowy egrets...

A nearly pristine, private beach...

Seeing cormorants for the first time ever....

It was an amazing day! :)

She makes me smile which you all know that by know.....
Her finishing another book and making me such a proud Daddy!!!!!
Knowing I will be there on Thursday and we get a great weekend together!!!!

Tonight we went to Outback for dinner, and they had something new on the menu called a mini milkshake. We both looked at them and she was thinking of getting one, but I noticed they had something unusual. Paper straws with red hearts or blue lines or yellow dots...So I called the manager over and bought twenty of them. The wife is used to me getting excited over the littlest of things, but she just shook her head and grinned at me. I think they are beautiful!

SO many things....

... sitting at my sewing machine for hours
... holding a sweet little baby (less then two months old)
... getting a long anticipated phone call

A long time friend arrives tomorrow to visit and we plan to drive all over the place in Texas. My girl and I are doing well. I finally bought the camera I have wanted for a long time A Cannon. My family is doing well. All is good !!

I had to bring my 7 day old grandbaby to doc today to get xray on his kidneys. Now waiting till Friday for test results.

1) this evening at dinner, a series of texts that my phone broke up into 4 pieces...

2) having faith in my dignity and integrity

3) respecting my initial gut feeling

4) dancing in the rain when I got home

5) after a long journey of working on my soul-searching and re-focusing on my health; my confidence and ability to rebound from disappointment has much improved and I know how to appreciate the good in my life.

6) it was a long drive home, but the evening ended up being a great evening filled with laughter and smiles with good, loyal friends. Awesome!

Getting my new corset top in the mail and [omgwtfbbq somehow squeezing] into it.. It said 14 [2x] I got it based on teh 2x.. Apparently 14 was more accurate! Eek! Exposes my wholeeee back lol but uhm it's pretty!

Gym date tomorrow.. Gonna go with or without her!! Weighed in at 199.6 and I am like booyah biotches! Coming down from 245, well, yeah baby! :hangloose:

So generally pretty happy today :)
