Cold and reluctant to get out of bed...
Last night my furnace made a god awful racket as it shut off and then there was a smell of smoke throughout the house...so I shut the furnace down at the breaker until my landlord can look at it later.... |
It's a very beautiful night out, so I'm feeling like laying on a blanket to watch the stars and listen to Spring Peepers. I feel very comfortable in the night air.

:) As for how I am feeling right now ... I am somewhat grouchy ... woke up at 1:00 and experiencing much difficulty going back to sleep. If it doesn't happen soon, I may go prepare myself a toddie. My special toddie is a cup of that General Foods International Coffee. It is not expensive at all but I have to pretend to have something extra special for myself. I won't drink it often, else it would not feel like a special treat to me. Get it??? LOL! I play all sorts of good tricks on myself and pretend not to notice the smoke and mirrors game. |

A dog named Rex died today because I don't have room. A dog with pink nails (painted pink) dies tomorrow in Tampa due to no space. A shelter director was arrested for taking joy in starving and killing animals. What is wrong with people? Way to much callousness for the lives of their pets. Way to much enjoyment in killing animals. Just way too much today. Today is not a good day for me. |
Very sore after a day of fishing, gardening and dog grooming chores.

Satisfied with what I got done today. Sleep schedule no longer out of whack I was up early; before the birds and sun, just like I like it. Did a lot around the apartment including now that the dishwasher is working again making a huge dent on backlogged dishes. Filled out forms I’d been avoiding/dreading. Clipped coupons so unlike last batch I can use these before they expire. Said quick prayer/crossed self/braved the junk room and made some progress in there. Continued readying stuff for St. Patrick’s Day bash, Easter egg hunt and Pride Parade committee potluck. Stuck with diet, hydrated, hydrated, hydrated... got Vitamin C from food, not gummy chewables. Admitted defeat and just read the damn cell phone instructions already. Now without thoughts/worry of neglected chores nagging at me I’m free to spend the rest of my day listening to good tunes, enjoying BFP site and working on plans for upcoming trip - yeah!

A lot better since I decided to channel my insurance frustrations into something productive. After several calls to and from said insurance, and wearing really thin on playing nice with them, I mowed and edged the front and back yard, then I played ball and a game of chase with my dopey dog; she turned the tables on me mid-chase and came really close to tackling me, then strutted around the yard all kinds of proud of herself. She cracked me up, which was exactly what I needed. I still have a hint of residual fire in my belly from the insurance debacle, but we're getting it straightened out, and at least I'm not on the tear I was on earlier today.

Good. It's a day off for me and the weather sucks but we could use the water. It hailed yesterday so people started whispering the 's' word again. No!
I have a ton of errands today and have already gotten some of them done so I feel pretty productive right now. I might even get to take in a movie today. |
I feel really good. I took care of some unresolved issues yesterday and woke up today happy that the toxic people in my life are out of it!!! I would rather be friendless than have have toxic people masquerading as my friends in my life. Time to March forward!!!!:hangloose::hangloose:

I woke up several times during the night due to one thing or another and when the alarm went off, I was in the middle of a really weird dream. I feel okay, but I could definitely be better and more rested.

How am I feeling?
Sore! I am waiting to see my hospice doctor. This is day two of me being at my hospice. Today he is late seeing me. But he is always late. I just hope he can help me today with my pain. I seem to be in more pain these days. I'm starting to really pissed off over the amount of pain I seem to always be in! Oy!!!!

Pretty good :) I am half way through the training for my new job and I am finally feeling like I just may make it through lol. Radio dispatch has been like learning a foreign language but I really like it. Fingers crossed for the second half.
