soup
milk

Last can of soup :(
That Healthy Choice chicken noodle is difficult to locate. Not many stores stock it. Perhaps I should look into ordering a case from a grocery store that sells it. Could check online but imagine shipping would be pricey.

I should talk to Corkey and find out if his wife ok'ed me being dinner company on a regular basis. Yes, hell I'll move for those vittles. Corkey eats well ... all the time. *grin*
And their food is always so interesting and delicious-sounding to me.
:)

Just think, after all the rain it's grillin' season. You might want frequent flier miles... Cooking is easy, finding recipes that work for you is the hard part. Canned products are for condiments, additives, not staples.

Corkey 05-01-2014 02:33 PM

Tonight chicken adobo tacos.

Happyfemme 05-01-2014 05:21 PM

ForeverMe 05-03-2014 01:52 PM

Tonight is definitely a cooking on the grill kind of night. We are having hotdogs, macaroni salad (more like a masterpiece), fresh fruit salad, and a BIG green salad.

As a side note: Stargazingboi is obviously feeding an army. That sounds like a HUGE buffet!! I love spinach and artichoke dip.

cinnamongrrl 05-03-2014 02:46 PM

prolly gonna be cheezits

I actually got inspired to make dinner.....

I had most of the stuff to make stuffed peppers...I ran to the store and got chicken sausage (italian style) cooked that up added diced tomatoes(drained) spiced it up with cumin, red pepper flakes, and oregano....made a bag each of brown and white minute rice..threw those in the pan with the sausage and tomatoes...added some edamame for color and to have another veggie (and I had some I needed to use up) threw the mixture into green and orange peppers and voila...
however....
Im hungry now...and I grabbed cheezits (and forgot actual cheese) so...in the interim I may spoil my appetite...

Happyfemme 05-03-2014 05:02 PM

Chicken and green beans.

Chad 05-03-2014 05:15 PM

Dinner

Hi,

I ate leftover pot stickers and now I want something spicy so maybe some cheese stuffed jalapenos.

Ginger snaps for dessert.

Chad

*Anya* 05-03-2014 05:23 PM

The GF is making dinner while I am washing/drying and making the bed with clean sheets.

Homemade cornmeal crust pizza, with olives, hot Italian sausage, caramelized onions and garlic.

Also, a salad with mixed greens, tomatoes, avocados, shredded carrots and balsamic dressing.

Yes, she is an awesome cook and I will do sheets any day for one of her meals.

:wine:

Gemme 05-03-2014 05:45 PM

So far, it's been a handful of gummy bears, a blueberry muffin and some Cheetos.

Eventually, I'll get to actual food but it may take a while.

MsTinkerbelly 05-03-2014 08:58 PM

Today was the final day of my birthday week, so we brunched at my sisters house, and my wonderful wife took me to a steak house for dinner. :fastdraq:

I cut my food into little bitty, teeny tiny pieces, and enjoyed every single bite!

willow 05-04-2014 01:58 AM

Late lunch/early dinner of fabulous Chinese food. At least I hope so. The reviews and recommendations are fabulous anyway. :praying:

Gemme 05-04-2014 11:07 AM

I did wind up with real food! I had the last of the taco salad (lean hamburger, romaine, chips, guac, salsa (mix of jarred and fresh), taco sauce, Mexican blend shredded cheese, corn and light sour cream).

I've taken out kielbasa for tonight. I've got some produce that needs to be eaten up, so I'll sauté that and the sausage and lay it on a bed of rice, probably basmati.

WildHorses 05-04-2014 11:30 AM

Probably more dried out pizza.
