Maybe we should start saving to create a retirement community one day :)

It sure is different being refered to as an older person by the younger generation, but I think back through the years and it is a blessing, my 1st friend passed when she was 17,,I was 15, many years have gone by and alot of life,,Im thankful for what I have had,,even if my hair is gray and I dont move as fast as I used to, and actually check out scooters when I go to Disneyland !:glasses:

I think it is actually a really awesome idea. There are a few gay/lesbian communities out there, and people are flocking to them. They are expensive, though.

Someone who is good at creating that kind of thing should do it. If it was in a half decent location I would seriously relocate (a 55+ type community).

Oh good, I'm not as far from the mean than I thought!! Oh yeah- a queer retirement community sounds great!

Hmm, I first answered this when I was 39. I'm 41 now.

I started on the other B-F when I was 41. I'm now 48. Soon to be 49. I still feel young and look young. :)

I'm 36 ... soon-ish to be 37.

I act older as I've an old soul although I usually pass, in real life, as a 30 something if I mosturise before going outside

I was 18 when I joined the old B-F and I'm still here at 22.

i'm 24 chronologically, and around 5 mentally and 80 physically ;) it evens out. sorta.

I'm 23 (24 in October) seems like my youth is held against me.

i hear Hot SPrings is great for retirement. Maybe we should all gravitate to the hot springs as we age, then we won't have to travel so far for the reunion.....

I think you're cool. Sometimes people are a bit overly wary of new people. I like that you bring your own experiences from the real world and are not just another person who has been online for years and years and knows all the right lingo and protocol. You also don't get angry or defensive when people seem to misunderstand you, which shows a lot of class. We need new blood- in terms of new people and younger people. I am glad you are here. Enjoy your youth!
