Ah that was the old rules. Now it's just you say 2 truths and a lie and someone else will tell you which is the lie and then they'll say 2 truths and a lie and someone else will say which is the lie and so on. Except you have to watch out for cheaters who say two lies and a truth. But it doesn't matter because somebody else will just say which is the lie and then take a turn. And I'll just keep wondering whether Okiebug likes miracle whip with cottage cheese or not. Odd little game.

Maybe you don't love modern art?

I once worked as a dog officer

I ate an entire watermelon by myself.

My grandfather on my father's side came to the US from the Azores on a whaling boat when he was 16.

Miss Tick was right! I have an art rule: If it looks like something I could do, I don't like it. Usually I don't "get" it. My house is all full of Impressionists and Romantics.

(As for Michael Jackson, he's buried in the Great Mausoleum at Forest Lawn. Anyone can go up to the door of the Holly Terrace section, peek in, and he's at the other end of the hall. I could enter due to my cousin who is interred in the same room. My great-uncle and aunt are also interred in the place. I don't know if I could take a tour of the whole building, though. Just for trivia, the public is allowed in the front door and into a large room there, and Elizabeth Taylor is interred right there, much less private.)

I don't think Miss Tick ate a whole watermelon ;).

LOL. You're right I did not. Although I imagine I could especially on a hot summer day sitting by the ocean catching some rays.

As a side note, I have.

Eaten a whole watermelon, that is.

Bloated like a whale, I was.

But I was a happy whale.

For your great grandfather's sake, I hope the first is a lie, but my official vote is for the second.

I think the third one is a lie, or maybe just wishful thinking.

Here are mine:
  • I was just broken up with by a dying woman via her sister, because the kid doesn't want to see me and that "precludes you being a partner"
  • I'm listening now to cheesy Music Choice stations on cable, hooked up to better speakers
  • I'm reading at a theater next week with a filmmaker and two other performers I don't know
