I was wondering why you said "It gets really.....", without saying really what. Now I know. No words. Must go bleach eyes now. Thanks Gemmie.

Wow- that is a fab collection of tats- and thank you for making me spend 20 minutes looking at them-lol, they were interesting! I especially want to know the story of the skull faced boy. I've seen pics where his facial tat is more completed (chin, forehead).http://news.bmezine.com/wp-content/u...31458-pix1.jpg
How does he live? Who writes his checks?
But anyway, I was referring to not topping the re-use of depilatory wax as a measure of thriftiness that could not be topped. The hair/tat pic I posted was just a bonus. I still maintain that re-using depilatory wax after straining through a cheesecloth is the most thrifty tip that will ever be shared in this, or any other, thread. :)

After reading some of these posts and seeing pics that made my eyes pop.....

....is the real question Cheap Bastard or Frugal Gourmet?

Personally, I was liking the little lawnmower :bolt:

Andrea 03-07-2010 08:47 AM

I have been wanting a bicycle but have not been able to justify the cost when I haven't ridden in many years and there really isn't any place near me to ride. So it is something that has just sat on my wish list.

Yesterday we picked up a FREE practically new purple Schwinn my honey found me on Freecycle.org. Got to love free and got to love my cheap bas..... er, frugal honey!!!

Day,

Try http://www.onbirthday.com and http://www.yelp.com/topic/sacramento...birthday-stuff. Some places you need to sign up and get coupons in the mail or email.

Also, you can get coupons for some good restaurants at Restaurant.com.

Happy Birthday to Mrs Day.

Even better!
:aslpeacelove:

A friend of ours no longer needed their Gift card
for a block of restaurants that is local here,
and gifted it to us for her Birthday!

So we are bringing her with us...lol!

:danceparty:

We go have an afternoon lunch/dinner, then head over to the
City Cemetery for a photo stroll of the grounds as
Spring blooms throughout.

:weedsmoke:

It's gonna be a fine day indeed.
:flowers:

Score!!!!!

Rene and I have discussed taking the cemetery stroll many times. We drive past it so much, you would think we would find the time. I imagine it is even within walking distance.

So much to do, so little time.

Enjoy the special day.

I've been looking around for a used elliptical training machine for months now with no luck. I don't know why I didn't just follow my own advice. A little drive through town on garbage pickup night and we came home with one in the back of my station wagon in perfect condition! Those suckers are HEAVY!

Ima Dandy 03-16-2010 08:38 PM

LOL......let it "bee" know that the :floatbee: did not lift it by herself!....yep, they are heavy......first part of the exercise program is moving it!
