Laerkin and SB were just racing to lunch and as we drove along the river spotted a turtle in the middle of the road. A squeal of the brakes and a quick U-turn by SB...and I was out in the road flagging both lanes of traffic to a stop. I moved the little guy to the safety of the woods and we were on our way. Yay for turtle saving adventures!!!

Enchantress is frustrated with herself for leaving Lulu's chicken out all day. Especially due to the fact that Lulu won't eat her kibble without her boiled chicken. Not even if I crumble a bit of tuna in it. And, Enchantress is maintaining a tough love stance regarding the kibble this evening...

Last night was random to say the least. We went from sobering up a drunk friend, to hanging out, to dancing to Tejano with my friends neighbors until 4am. I passed on the ethnic martinis this time though. :blink:

Jo is surrounded by pre-teen boy energy...the Rooster has his two closest friends over, and there is now a nerf-gun battle being waged in the back yard. The mini-doxie has taken refuge on the couch with me.
