A Kindle Reader-no more room in house for books..
I also have a pooch who is 14 yrs old and has cancer, it was diagnosed in Feb. and was given 6 months, she is still here with me and I certainly want to spend the holidays with Katie. I'll read to her from the Kindle..... And peace and good wishes to all... |
I'm going to ask Santa for a Valium salt lick for the peeps who work around here. We seriously need the help! :hangloose:

I WANT PEACE IN THIS PLACE.
No more crimes, homicides, drug wars, spill over violence, insane and untamed fighting in the streets across the border and all people left homeless/displaced and scared in the wake of all these back safe and sound in their homes and in their lives with no more fear of death or crossfire.

to spend a couple weeks with my family in the san francisco bay area.. luv it there and we all have so much fun!! everyone in the family plays some sort of instrment we have so much fun when we all gather and make music!

In no particular order (except that i want everything all at once)
-a Mustang or 3 -chocolate -music -money -a victorian house -my own private beach -100 dogs & cats -a top of the line laptop with free upgrades for life -coffee -1000 purses/bags -jewelry -a personal chef -to travel around the world ok, i see that my list is kinda big, so i'll spread it out over a day or 2 :cheesy: seriously though..... i would love for everyone i love to have peace and contentment in their lives. :hippie: |

For Christmas I would like the US Immigration centre to open their eyes and realise that it is not only a man and a woman who love each other. That it takes many different people to make up this big world of ours. I want them to understand that there are same sex couples and how there archaic rules are forcing there own citizens to leave each and every day. I am not even asking them to make marriage legal or I want is for them to acknowledge a same sex relationship ie. defacto.. and I want them to change there immigration laws so that I and many hundreds more people can come home and be with the people we long to be with at this time of year.

And yanno what, world peace is coming. It won't be this Christmas, and it might not be the next couple years, but it is coming. Hold strong to the image and keep it in your prayers or energy work; it is coming. |

What I really, really want is the next part of Rosetta Stone Italian program. Finally, something that I have been able to use to bring Italian back to me!
Like so many immigrant families that were part of the 1920's influx into the US, my grandparents and my parents would not allow us to respond to them in Italian- had to speak English- so that they learned it. So, even though I have a history with many speaking other languages around me (one Grandpa spoke 5 languages), it never settled in well. Even with taking Spanish in school (both Latin rooted languages). I suck! When in Mexico, I have always had some looks telling me my Spanish stinks and the same from other family members that have visited from Italy. What is very strange is that I have had dreams throughout my life where people are always speaking Italian. Anyway- this program plus handy-dandy online translators is helping me get where I want to go! Have no talent for languages at all. |
