I melt into the arms of anyone wearing Tom Ford's Noir Extreme
|
I no longer wear the Chrome cologne, my girl doesn't like it LOL
I still however wear the Stetson Caliber, CK Euphoria Intense for men and my body sprays these days. |
BUMP BUMP

My Spouse is Butch and she has always wore men's cologne. Old Spice, CK one, Polo, and my all time absolute favorite is Joop!!!! I love the way that stuff smells on her! Elizabeth Taylor had a men's cologne that I bought her a few times years ago, but I can't remember the name? I really liked that. :hangloose:

"Crafted with the most exquisite tobacco absolute, this scent is rich, dark, sweet, and smoky. So good you may be tempted to take a drink. It feels aged, smooth, mature and yet subtle, just like you. Notes of: Tobacco, Cedar, Clary Sage, and More." Haha! Subtle is one thing I am not. ;) |

I might be looking for a new cologne after I am done with what I have left. |
The number of colognes in my possession has shot up recently.
I still am really attached to Aqua di Parma Essenza and have a big 6 oz bottle of it. But I've expanded to having a few more options. Like the O'Doubs Heritage solid cologne which is nice for just a little scent. I also got American Eagle Live, Burberry Weekend, and Nautica Blue. They all have similar notes (citrusy-woody) but slightly different chemistry. |
I just couldn't get into the Burberry Weekend cologne, I don't know why though, most folks thought it smelt okay on me but I didn't. I guess I am very picky on the smells from my nose and not other people's noses.
|
I have now gotten rid of the CK euphoria intense, I only wear my acqua di Gio by Armani or stetson caliber but I mainly use body sprays when I don't use cologne.
|
It all depends on the time of year and what the occasion but these are My contenders.... and if people blink rapidly or cough politely around you ... EASE up ... use soap and water first....
John Varvatos Artisan Guess Seductive Homme Blue Gucci Guilty Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Terrible Issey Miyake L |
Yes.. A mild bar of soap and water go a long way...
But of course I wanted the fruity and smokey Aventus by Creed for $210.00. What I actually purchased was a decent clone called Club de Nuit Intense Man for $27.50. |
I love good smelling colognes and I have to admit that my cologne locker stays well stocked with a variety of great scents. I prefer the "fresh" scents to the heavier musks.
Currently, the scents I use most often are as follows: 1. Givenchy - Gentlemen Only 2. Yves St. Laurent - L’Homme Libre 3. Christian Dior - Farenheit 4. John Varvatos - Vintage 5. Sean Jean - Unforgiveable 6. Geoffrey Bean - Gray Flannel (an OLD favorite of mine for years) 7. Christopher Wicke - English Laundry Oxford Blue 8. Armani - Code I am very, very careful to not overapply any of these scents. Being an asthmatic, myself, going "light" is much more effective and allows these scents to mix with my natural pheromones to produce a much more "individual" smell to them. :winky: ~Theo~ :bouquet: |

My dad used to wear Gray Flannel, its a nice scent. I found that I like Blue De Chanel for men, but it's pretty pricey and I don't always use cologne every day. |
BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP!
|
I tried a spray of a cologne this evening. It was Polo Black. I might be buying a bottle.
|
|
Kenneth Cole Black and Vintage Black smells good, I am not sure if I would wear it as much as my other colognes.
|
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I broke down and got me a bottle of Kenneth Cole Black, on sale!
I will try it out tomorrow! See what everyone says at work. |
Favorite scent on a Butch?
Freshly cleaned skin and hair...maybe Zest or Axe or maybe even Irish Spring. I want to smell the Butch! not a cologne brand |
Okay so i have a consensus about my cologne. The Kenneth Cole Black over rules Acqua Di Gio by Armani at work.

Bleu by Chanel has clean scent, great for
work, and going out as well. |

JDeere...that's why there are so many colognes on the market...different
scents for different folks. So, which one did you like the Kenneth Cole or Armani? Greco Quote:

soaps and body washes
hey y'all!
i don't really wear perfume or cologne at the minute - still pretty young so i can get away with it, and they all seem so expensive i was wondering if anybody had recommendations for body washes that are good quality and smell nice but not super overpowering? i like the kinda woodsy scents, so cedar and pine and stuff like that would be cool |
bw
grayson,
"Jack for Men" makes a delicious (so I've been told) sandalwood, also like their cedar wood...I use the soap, but they make a body wash as well. And reasonably priced. Greco Quote:

Lord of Goathorn by Lush is very interesting, and my gf loves it on me, altho it's definitely not for everyone, as according to the website it has notes of 'seaweed, basil, tarragon, liquorice'. To me it definitely smells strongly of anise and the sea.
|
Lately I like the smell of Black Suede.
|
I am sticking to the Acqua Di Gio from now on. I am getting a lot of compliments on how it smells on me, lately.
|
I have 2 bottles of cologne i no longer wear. Anyone want them or any ideas on what to do with them? I tried selling apps but no luck.

I have both the Cedarwood and Sandalwood body wash from Every Man Jack. It has a very light, subtle scent that seems to dissipate shortly after using. It’s nice, though. |
Telluride cologne from manready mercantile is my new go to for outings with my ex or family.
It has tonka bean, sandalwood and suede. |
Whoever sent me the rep comment about the colognes, i found someone to take them. I do apologize for not getting back to ya, life has thrown me a big curveball.
