The sun is bright and shiny, breakfast is in the air, I'm all snuggly under a soft blankie and I am watching a documentary on "The Central Park Five", glass of water to my right, and once in a bit a flash of eye candy crosses my perifial.

Well, slept in, which was very nice until one said cat wanted attention.

You know the temp is 41. Not a good morning to lock yourself out of the house with nothing on your feet. Went to neighbors house and had to endure her trying to give me socks while we searched for my extra key. "It should be right here" search.

I'm patiently waiting for rain, possible thunder showers. So I'm going to put in the two movies I rented today. Dallas Buyers Club, alright alright alright :)
And Nebraska.

Working on my pen pal project, should wrap it up in a few hours. And then to finish sewing quilt blocks together to get to quilter.

Trying to keep my mind occupied :)

Spending Sunday morning making the family recipe of Sicilian-style red gravy with Pops and Pappy supervising. Jackhammer is at home washing clothes and getting the house in shape since I've been gone all week but she will be heading over hear in a bit to eat spaghetti and fix their toilets.

very slow waking up this morning...coffee then a hair appointment with my daughter...and a short visit with mom :)

I think my whole weekend was over easy :)

Early start today to get Jackhammer off to work and get a sirloin roast in the oven. I glaze it with soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, garlic, pepper, and some other secrets and it is smelling divine in the house already!

Sitting in bed with coffee going through stacks of receipts while the washing machine hums and my big red dog snores softly.

Tinkling rain outside and my favorite Nirvana incense going.

dunkin donuts blueberry coffee with sweet cream creamer, biscuits will be in the oven soon, potato and sausage casserole is ready...I want to go to dallas blooms if the weather permits, if not I guess its to the casino :)

Im not sure if its the time change or if my body just needs it slept late again was after 830 my time when I woke up.

coffee and breakfast and now getting ready to head out to see some flowers. I hope the camera works well and we dont get blown away with winds that r going to b close to 50mph at times.:blink:

I am exhausted, dinner last night was filling, relaxed, enjoyable and it's still sprinkling into my morning so much I hopped out of bed, watched CBS Sunday Morning, went and bought some fresh baked donuts and am now relaxed, watching Face the Nation.

I am buzzed, half dressed and the windows are open, I may or may not have a drink of Worm's pink milk.


Life is good....

This is such a peaceful thread...feels like home cookin'.

This morning I ask my son what was on his mind for breakfast,waffles says the kid,so I made waffles on my fancy flip waffle maker.He had blue berries with maple syrup, I had strawberry with with Mrs.butter worth sugar free syrup along with a pot of french market coffee consumed.

We have landed! Red and I survived a 2 day trip with our nephews to Gulfport MS! It is raining but we have a balcony with a view and a Waffle House next door! Life is good. New Orleans on Tuesday!

Sunday late afternoon
 

Laptop and me at patio table watching way more hummingbirds than I have ever had fight over two feeders. Really. Saw 9 at once. Crazy fun.

Big dog Gabriel (standard poodle - champagne) watching intensely for 'stinkinsquirrels' to him. I have a cute squirrel feeder on the fence, and if one gets a peanut he goes bonkers. So much fun to watch. Love to hear them bitch at him.

Sitting with a glass of Chardonnay and watching the garden grow. Tommi build the raised garden, and we filled it and planted last weekend. Loving it. Can't wait for first tomato or pepper to be harvested. Spinach, beans, cucumbers and green onions in there also. Red beets too, but someone has been eating the leaves.

Bunny? There has been one seen in the yard.

Love the warm weather. Feel for friends in cold areas. Cooked St. Pat's dinner today - awesome. Leftovers tomorrow.

Started the day out with good coffee, snuggling with my Lamb, and oatmeal with flax seeds and honey.

Today will be a relaxing day of organizing and going through receipts and papers. Have several projects going and love staying busy while I play some Edith Piaff in the background and the scent of Nag Champa wafts around.

Last sunday was the best sunday I have had in long time. I got to wake to a cool (warmer then I have been used too) windy day with someone so special. We had breakfast, and then hit the road to go see a park that was in full bloom.

It was a great lazy sunday.

Today I had to wake without her but I got to call and wake her we are getting ready to run errands in 2 different states but together. I love the time we spend together even if its miles apart.

This is the kind of Sunday I am so very thankful for. Got home around 8 last night from our vacation with the nephews. Had a great time. Not planning on doing anything we do not have to. Wishing everyone a lazy laid back over easy Sunday!

Well we have had our two foster doxies for almost 24 hrs and it is going pretty well. Ms. Daisy who is blind has taken up with me and Mauser is pretty much just hanging with who is willing to rub his belly. Their furever mommy will be picking them up in mid May. My main goal is to get them to Bark Boomer Sooner so when get to Nebraska they can rustle them some Cornhuskers!

breakfast, then errands, and lunch at a family style (homestyle) restaurant...we got a lot done...now movie time :)

woke up in a tent to the sound of soft rain...fixed eggs in a nest and sausage on the campstove...packed up camp...coffee at the campstore then fishing and we caught a turtle...home now doing laundry and watching Netflix...have a good week! :)

A not-so-lazy Sunday!

Doing some cooking for the week and washing clothes. Also changed the sheets on the bed, shredded a buttload of papers, cleaned the bathrooms, and had an overdue phone chat with one of my oldest friends.

Easy like Sunday morning!

Our day was wild! The foster puppies change our routine so sleeping late is not an option! Work is crazy along with the weather. Got stuck in a hail storm, and wow people will almost run you over to find shelter for their car. Me, I went to the donut shop called Red had a cup of coffee with the owner and gained a new client. Funny how going with the flow opens new doors. I am test proctor for the next 8 school days. Had 2 days last week. Love the kids but I am sure glad I no longer am 10yrs old :-).

Most GORGEOUS Sunday morning I've seen in a LONG time!

I went ahead and opened up all the windows and there are about a zillion happy birds chirping and singing all over the land. I'm busy in the kitchen making a lunch and will plant some stuff in the raised bed later today.

Today even SMELLS amazing. Clean, green-smelling breeze wafting through the house makes me want to run outside and roll around in the grass :)
